jr1 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 save the dancing for the America's Got Talent stage, big man
White Linen Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I would be partying pretty hard like him, but not in the manner in which he does. The NFL is filled with young rich people and no one is doing what he is doing. He is the most protoypical, stereotypical, archetypal meathead that I've ever seen in my entire life. The problem is that while everyone else thinks he's acting the fool, he thinks his schtick is cool. I will admit it's kind of funny, but one day he will realize that people are laughing at him, not with him. Still would give a toe or maybe even half a finger for the Bills to have him over Torell Troup. I agree totally. Seems like a fun loving young man that's just having a good time, but he does look entertainingly silly.
Dr. Trooth Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 It's only his arm that's broken, not his spirit, craving for contact, or his will to party it up. If only Chandler could follow his example on and off the field.
Stealth Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Well, at least he is working out during the offseason. hahahaa well played
section122 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I'm gonna go ahead and do it... Gronk is injury prone. He missed all of 09 while in college. 2010 limited action - injury free. 2011 ankle injury hampered him in the superbowl. 2012 broken arm twice put him out. 3 of the last 4 years he has had injury problems. His hard playing style does not benefit him on the field and his hard partying doesn't benefit him off the field. I have no opinion on his actions off the field as they don't matter much to me, I just think we are seeing a trend and it is something I will certainly be following.
BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 This kid kills me...broke his arm, has cast on, goes clubbing and decides to slam a fellow stage dancer to the ground. Hey, I'm all for having a good time...but geez Gronk, think a little bit would ya?? http://1045theteam.c...gas-club-video/ he learned from Brady.. Tom Terrific went clubbing with cast on foot.
Doc Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I hope Billy continues to put him in on meaningless ST's plays.
Captain Hindsight Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 A 23 year old with tons of money dancing at a club in Vegas? What is this world coming to?
metzelaars_lives Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 A 23 year old with tons of money dancing at a club in Vegas? What is this world coming to?op Yeah that's easy to say and that seems to be the sentiment of most people on here, but he wasn't just "dancing at a club in Vegas." He was clearly on a stage where he was the focal point of the entire bar and then proceeded to take his shirt off, which he always does. No he's not hurting anyone, but his act officially just jumped the shark. Not to mention it's more than a little bit ghea. He's a young man now. It's time to grow up. Didn't he get a warning prior to this past season by the team to cool his antics?
BringBackFergy Posted February 5, 2013 Author Posted February 5, 2013 A 23 year old with tons of money dancing at a club in Vegas? What is this world coming to? It's a matter of choices...if I was making millions each year and broke my arm (the very same arms that I need to collect those millions I make)...I'd go out to bars with friends, drink a few beers, take some hot women back to my room and watch "Jeopardy"...I wouldn't be dancing on a stage and kickin a buddy in the groin, flipping him over and then landing on my broken arm. I don't begrudge him for doing it...I would do it differently.
RyanC883 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 He's a great player, and I have no problem if he wants to dance w/o a shirt on like an idiot, but throwing a friend, even in jest, with a broken arm would cause me concern if I were the Pats. They should keep him away from the booze until the arm heals.
dollars 2 donuts Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) My. favorite. Patriot. Party on Wayne! Party on Garth! Edited February 5, 2013 by dollars 2 donuts
pimp 2 Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 I wonder if he works out during the off-season  !!!!
Maury Ballstein Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 cool story..........how many other young NFL guys partied this weekend? I hear Fitz had a wild party where a half bottle of Cabernet was downed.
Mr. WEO Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 This kid kills me...broke his arm, has cast on, goes clubbing and decides to slam a fellow stage dancer to the ground. Hey, I'm all for having a good time...but geez Gronk, think a little bit would ya?? http://1045theteam.c...gas-club-video/ He's probably not thinking past how many porn star wannbe's he's going to be spinning on his dick later on... I'm gonna go ahead and do it... Gronk is injury prone. He missed all of 09 while in college. 2010 limited action - injury free. 2011 ankle injury hampered him in the superbowl. 2012 broken arm twice put him out. 3 of the last 4 years he has had injury problems. I have no opinion on his actions off the field as they don't matter much to me, I just think we are seeing a trend and it is something I will certainly be following. Following what? Hard partying--is that a joke? And hard playing? That would be nice to see.... Has anyone questioned whether this kid is ever out of shape in the off season? I've only read the opposite. I don't see him showing up to camp overweight, out of shape and injured by week 1. At least Gronkowski stays off the IR after he gets injured, unlike, say, Eric Wood.
DukeyBomb Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 (edited) I don't get what the big deal is. Folks from Buffalo like to have a good time and live a little bit. Even if it seems "immature" for an adult. I don't think any of his antics should make news headlines because it's "unprofessional" in todays world. Give me a break and find something better to talk about. Patty Kane is the same way. I love it. Edited February 5, 2013 by DukeyBomb
sodbuster Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Well, at least he is working out during the offseason. On a Sunday morning at the Ralph, I can spend ten minutes in the parking lot and find 100 things worse.
Captain Hindsight Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 Yeah that's easy to say and that seems to be the sentiment of most people on here, but he wasn't just "dancing at a club in Vegas." Didn't he get a warning prior to this past season by the team to cool his antics? I bet he shows up on Sundays this fall and catches everything thrown his way. Ya he's an idiot and is dancing and thrwoing people around. If all hes guilty of is being a dummy, hes alot better than some people in this world
benderbender Posted February 6, 2013 Posted February 6, 2013 The Cheatriots deserve him. I bet Bellicheat has a Yo Soy Fiesta tramp stamp
