t317 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How many has flacco just heaved up there and the wr's made the play?
NoSaint Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 Flacco has been very lucky with these tosses
truth on hold Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Agree on both ends. Plus they appear to have Kaepernick rattled. I finally figured it out : he looks just like a pharoah. Surprised that's not his nickname.
John in Jax Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 How many has flacco just heaved up there and the wr's made the play? Agreed...it seems that he does that an awful lot. Hi is one lucky QB, that's for sure.

Malazan Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 His receivers go for the ball that helps This. It's not luck. He believes his receivers will beat the coverage and get the ball.
t317 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 His receivers go for the ball that helps His receivers probably work out during the offseason too
John in Jax Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Did the Niners hire someone from the Bills for their clock management duties? lol
BuffaloBillsForever Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Flacco has been very lucky with these tosses The one where he was rolling out to his right on the run is not luck. You need a REALLY strong arm to even come close to make that throw. Not a high % throw but only a few QB's can make it.
NoSaint Posted February 4, 2013 Author Posted February 4, 2013 This. It's not luck. He believes his receivers will beat the coverage and get the ball. He's also throwing to spots that give his WR an angle to beat the defender to the spot most of the time. Still - Just statistically speaking its amazing how many breaks have gone their way without a mistake on deep balls lately.

Doing something that requires skill can still be incredibly lucky to execute at the rate they are. Wasn't trying to beat him up. He's been fantastic but its noteworthy that Baltimore has essentially been perfect on those throws.
Bronc24 Posted February 4, 2013 Posted February 4, 2013 Flacco has been very lucky with these tosses Wish Fitz was that "lucky".
