ChevyVanMiller Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) I love all that have already been posted, but I am positive that I have the definitive answer. This scene proves why Jack Lemmon had no peers as an actor. It's from Robert Altman's "Short Cuts." (Great movie, btw.) In the scene he is explaining to his "son" about a decades old affair that he had on his wife with her sister. Take a moment and watch it and experience a true master at the very top of his game. Kelly the Dog Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 "Help! Help! I'm being repressed!" Not one single monologue but a series of dialogue that amounts to a long monologue, from the greatest peasant ever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rAaWvVFERVA
JinVA Posted January 30, 2013 Posted January 30, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YlVDGmjz7eM "Tape recorders? The Japs will kill us on labor costs"! One of my favorites as well.
