Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I'm watching this game strictly for Spiller. Kyle and JJ Watt for me John Fox is worried CJ is going to get winded.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Yes there are penalties in the probowl - Ed Hochuli
Tsaikotic Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 after waking up and looking at stats of game I wondered why they even invited RB's to the pro-bowl...c.j.was 1/-2...1 carry is all he had... ....oh well..good thing i slept and didn't watch the game.
Optometric Insight Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 The pro bowl is just a backyard football game with some of the best players in the league. What else do you guys expect out of it?
PromoTheRobot Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I think we just saw the last Pro Bowl game. PTR
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I think we just saw the last Pro Bowl game. PTR I didn't.
Meathead Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 I'm only watching until 9 when Shameless comes on lmao ouuuuch
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 It's a joke as a football game but I guarantee it might a lot to Spiller. guys dream of going to the Pro Bowl. Btw, with all the rules against the defense now, the real games aren't much different.
RkFast Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Maybe its just me waxing romantic from being a kid, but didnt the players actually at least TRY in the Pro Bowl "back in the day?"
John from Riverside Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Sucked for Spiller...his time came up and the AFC started fumbling and throwing picks
buffaloboyinATL Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Sucked for Spiller...his time came up and the AFC started fumbling and throwing picks He did have one dump off pass that he almost broke for a TD.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Maybe its just me waxing romantic from being a kid, but didnt the players actually at least TRY in the Pro Bowl "back in the day?" Tasker did.
KD in CA Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Maybe its just me waxing romantic from being a kid, but didnt the players actually at least TRY in the Pro Bowl "back in the day?" Back in the day the money they got for winning was more than pocket change relative to their salaries.
FLFan Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 According to reports this morning, Roger Goodel thought the game was "improved". Perhaps he was high.
CodeMonkey Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 It echos my first thoughts as well with the Super Bowl. Last night after a long day of doing a lot of crap I started to try to remember when the Super Bowl was tomorrow or next Sunday. I laughed when all I could remember was Ray Lewis was in it, it's his last game, and that's all that stuck out about it for me. I know I will watch but the only thing I watched this year were a few Bills games - so I see no reason to start watching football this season. The pro bowl is not a football game. It is a joke of a show. I didn't watch 1 second. My kids tried but gave up quickly. They shouldn't even have it. It serves no purpose except maybe to make a little extra money. The NHL all star game at least has the skills competitions the night before and they are pretty entertaining. The game itself is a glorified skate-and-shoot but they mic a few players and have conversations with them during the game. They at least make an attempt to make it watchable.
Just in Atlanta Posted January 28, 2013 Posted January 28, 2013 Logged in here to see what you cats were saying about the Pro Bowl. I was going to watch until CJ was in, but couldn't even do that. Byrd flubbing an easy tackle in the Red Zone turned me away. Two pages of comments here, with three players in the game. For contrast, Marone's penchant for saying "ya know" got twice as many pages. Yeah, I say there is a better than 75 percent chance we just saw our last one.
