Buffaloed in Pa Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 I see people on here wanting to reach for a Q.B. at 8. Then they want him to sit a year. Ahhh .... NO. If he isn`t good enough to start HERE, don`t get him. I think even a 2nd round pick also should start right away,if we pick one. If you haven`t noticed all these young Q.B.s are starting in their 1st year. If he`s not good enough to start right away..forget it. It seems like the days of waiting a year or two are gone. Also the Glennon haters. I rememember a tall string bean Q.B. starting a few years back ..who held up for a few years before getting hurt..................Peyton Manning. Wasn`t very good his rook year either. You can`t coach a big arm and height. Glennon did make some really good throws yesterday in the second half.
RuntheDamnBall Posted January 27, 2013 Posted January 27, 2013 Manning led Tennessee to a shot at the NCAA championship. Glennon led NC State to records of 8-5 and 7-6 respectively. The two are from different universes in terms of their college achievements. Glennon may be a good QB for somebody, but the facts that he plays QB and has a big arm are about the only comparisons I'd make between the two at this point in their careers.
