bobobonators Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 This senior bowl reinforces one thing for me: geno smith is head and shoulders above these 2nd tier QBs.
Bangarang Posted January 26, 2013 Author Posted January 26, 2013 This senior bowl reinforces one thing for me: geno smith is head and shoulders above these 2nd tier QBs. I wouldn't say that at this point.
BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 (edited) Ah....yeah I thought you were comparing their physical abilities, which couldn't be further apart. Glennon does have a tendency to try to make throws that he shouldn't, which results in far too many picks. I feel like his deficiencies can be corrected, and I like the fact that he has what you can't teach: a cannon arm and good mechanics. All that said, I still like Wilson...small hands be darned. I would love to get Wilson with Rd. 2 pick but would feel horrible if he went to AZ or NYJ(or anyone for that matter) in rd.2 before our choice @ #41. If they like him just take him @ #8. No need to be cute here. Then grab DeAndre Hopkins from Clemson or Markus Wheaton from Oregon St. (if available of course) and I'll be very excited for our future. Is anyone going to start a live senior bowl game thread? Either i can't figutr out how.......still or I am just not allowed yet and......nevermind had i fully read the name of this topic.......i might have noticed sorry:) LOL Guess you could have erased some of what you ahd typed before hitting 'Post' but I love the humility. I'm rewatching the Clemson/LSU game right now and then I'll watch the Senior Bowl after. Did see Michael Williams catch a beautiful ball from the Florida St. QB, Manuel. Funny, Williams couldn't get open at all this week in practice. He's either a "Gamer' or the South defense that he practiced against is a little tougher than the North's Edited January 26, 2013 by MOVALLEYRANDY
jcbillsfan Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Glennon might have the best long term potential. Wilson might be the most ready. Manual is the classic hit or miss. Landry jones is a mystery to me.
Maury Ballstein Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 glennon IMO has highest degree of "bustability" not interested.
voodoo poonani Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Nassib didn't attempt to block on that end around
Mango Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 also i am not a fan of the ot pugh he seems like a dud on the outside, better inside, but not that impressive
BillsCelticsAngelsBama Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 KState on the North team? I know a lot of people here (KS) who'd be insulted by that. Texas on the North.... Cal Berkeley on the South.Guess just trying to get the best players here
bobobonators Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Bad, just bad. Other than Manuel, nothing but **** QB play so far
Mango Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 wide open tight end running the seam. no pressure in his face. totally misses....pass on this dude. we have a guy with way more smarts and ****ty accuracy i hope we see more of manuel. just two drives? but starts?
Maury Ballstein Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 nassib and glennon look bad.......that guys wide open right in front of nassib. pass until the 3rd/4th round IMO...........looks like jake locker without the wheels
TC in St. Louis Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 Maybe he's playing badly on purpose so he drops to the Bills in the 2nd round. Easy boys, just kidding. He's nervous as a cow with a buck-toothed calf.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 26, 2013 Posted January 26, 2013 I thought for sure he would be shooting up the charts in the months and weeks leading up to the draft, unless he tanked in the Senior Bowl, and he is tanking. He really hasn't had a good look yet, except perhaps that third down conversion on a shaky pass.
