plenzmd1 Posted February 13, 2013 Posted February 13, 2013 (edited) its good...i have had better...i noticed last year they called it a double red(?) this year the bottle says imperial amber....i guess i always expect more of a hop palate from this beer and that just isn't there, that said though, its still very good Finally made it up to Hershey yesterday, and picked a couple cases from the Brewery. Just poured the first one , and the aroma was ohh so familiar. I know this is a bit melancholy , but what the hell. Was this time last year I picked up 5 cases, and brought three of them up with me for my brothers benefit in early March Last beer we had together was a Nectar in the parking lot , just like a tailgate, during the benefit. Then as I was staying at his bedside in the hospital in late June, it was about midnight when his oldest son came back to the hospital and had two Nectars with him..he said have a beer with Dad , you two sure had enough together, i know he would like that. So drank both of em for us and toasted all the fun we had together. He died about 3 am, and the aroma of the beer just brought all of those memories rushing back...wow they say smell is the most powerful sense we have, I get it. Edited February 13, 2013 by plenzmd1
