BRAWNDO Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Greg Aiello @gregaiello @nflcommish has informed Saints HC Sean Payton that he is reinstated, effective immediately. Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora W/Payton reinstated, I'm told Gregg Williams has been free to pursue coaching jobs; Commish would address early reinstatement if he had job
Buftex Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I am sure everyone will be tripping over themselves to sign Gregg Williams.
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I hope they have learned their lesson. One can only hope Commish. If not, let em know you mean business and drop that permanent BAN HAMMER on them!
apuszczalowski Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Pete Rose one of these days is going ot just lose it Seriously, I know that its different sports and different incidents but c'mon, I think he might be the only one in pro sports who has not had his ban lifted/forgiven. I wouldn't be surprised if lance Armstrong is allowed to race in the tour de France before Pete Rose has his ban lifted by MLB
KD in CA Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Pete Rose one of these days is going ot just lose it Seriously, I know that its different sports and different incidents but c'mon, I think he might be the only one in pro sports who has not had his ban lifted/forgiven. I wouldn't be surprised if lance Armstrong is allowed to race in the tour de France before Pete Rose has his ban lifted by MLB Rose waited so long to admit it after everyone concluded he was guilty that he missed the window for forgiveness because everyone stopped caring about him. Armstrong was at least smart enough to know the road to redemption starts on Oprah's sofa. Rose never learned that.
Maddog69 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Technically, Greggo has not been reintstated. He was informed that he is free to find work and then apply for reinstatement at that point.
