qblax16 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 We get Spiller and and Byrd in the Pro Bowl now... who will watch?
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 (edited) The notification I just got from the Bills says Spiller & Kyle Williams http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-2/Bills-RB-CJ-Spiller-DT-Kyle-Williams-headed-to-Pro-Bowl/eff6648e-e7b6-45c0-a61e-df037b321ecc Edited January 21, 2013 by JÂy RÛßeÒ
Bangarang Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 The Pro Bowl hasn't been entertaining to watch for a long time. I probably will have the game on only to see Spiller carves people up. More than likely wont be paying much attention though.
Big C Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 The Pro Bowl hasn't been entertaining to watch for a long time. I probably will have the game on only to see Spiller carves people up. More than likely wont be paying much attention though. Yeah, if anything it's one last opportunity for Spiller to showcase his skills to a large audience before the offseason. The Pro Bowl really isn't fun to watch because it's just a friendly game with no consequences.
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Whoo! Of course, they only are in because the Ravens are in the Super Bowl but I'll take it. But really, why the hell are we playing the Pro Bowl before the Super Bowl when many of the best players in the game won't be there? I know it wasn't always like this, and I can't remember why they changed it.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Spiller absolutely. Kyle? Why? He played injured. Shows how much rep plays into this. PTR
Kelly the Dog Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 True or not, it's a damn decent thing for CJ to say after being named to the Pro Bowl, "Wanna thank my teammates, coaches, peers and fans for giving me the opportunity to go represent the best organization in NFL."

RyanC883 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Going to watch Spiller amass 200 + yards rushing. No one really tries to tackle, and he will run by everyone. Can't wait to see him w/ a HC who knows how to use him (and a passing game that opens up the run game).
Captain Hindsight Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Whats the pro bowl? Flag football game or something?
Toledo Bill Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Wasn't (or isn't) Kyle supposed to have surgery?
reddogblitz Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I'll probably watch it now. The game sucks now. It used to be good, like a real football game. The last few years though it has turned into something resembling a touch football game, only not as rough. It's the week before the SB now thanks to our fearless leader's (Goodell) desire to put him mitts on everything and change things that aren't broken.
Doc Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Usually I don't care, but CJ and Kyle are signed for at least 3 more seasons. I'm glad Byrd didn't make it since he's angling for a new contract. But I guess it doesn't matter since they'll probably franchise him anyway.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 @buffalobills #Bills S @jairusbyrd has been added to the 2013 AFC Pro Bowl roster, replacing @Ravens S Ed Reed.

ny33 Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Ravens G Marshal Yanda was replaced by Richie Incognito, a former Bill.
Prickly Pete Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 How important is the Pro Bowl to fans on this board? Do any here really get satisfaction by having Spiller play in this game. It means nothing to me, but if someone could explain why it is important to them as a fan of the Bills, I'm all ears.
