Not long ago, the *Pats seemed to have one of the all-time great dynasties of all-time. Since then, they posted a perfect regular season, only to lose in the SB. Got caught in the spygate scandal. Lost another SB to the Giants and now have lost the AFC title game at home to the Ravens.

How do you think history will judge the Belichick/Brady era? Will they win another SB?

They will be remembered as the dominant franchise of this era. Some will (perhaps rightfully) assign an asterisk to their accomplishmets, but it will not be be the prevailing view.

Does a dynasty last forever? The 49ers eventually slowed down but it didn't taint them.

The Pats legacy is solid but it's curious that they don't pull games out of their asses like they did before Spygate. I'm convinced some of those "miracle" wins were from cheating.

yeah, what an off the wall conspiracy theory.

so crazy, that the league itself handed down the harshest penalty in history for doing exactly that.

Their defense continues to let them down.

Perhaps, but Brady is getting old too. He's not the same guy at 30 whatever as he was in 2002. No matter how much ESPN and the rest of the media jerk him off...

The reason they are a dynasty, and one of the best ever, is the same reason that the Dallas Cowboys were a dynasty from the late 1960s to the early 1980s when they were 12-2, 11-2-1, 10-4, 8-6, 10-4, 11-3, 12-2, 12-4, 11-5, 12-4, 12-4... pretty much every single year, they were the team to beat, most years some team rose above and beat them, and usually then went back down for a year or two or forever. But they were always at the top, for a ridiculous amount of years.

once again, what have they won since they got caught cheating? nuthin

Aside from 76* regular season games and 5 playoff games? You're right, nuthin'.

*an average of 12.7/year over 6 years.
