NoSaint Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Yeah killed both of them.Suggs ran a 5.0 forty.I like Suggs. At the combine he ran a 4.84 at 260 lbs
Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 At the combine he ran a 4.84 at 260 lbs He also ran a 5.00 . I remember them whining about it.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 http://footballsfuture.com/2013/combine/olb.html It looks like Jarvis Jones didn't workout at the combine.
3rdand12 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Mr Jones is a risk heavy pick. But if he turns out and we missed on it ? geesh. This is one i want to leave to the proffesionals.
NoSaint Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 (edited) He also ran a 5.00 . I remember them whining about it. You remember them complaining about a 4.8 He topped out in the 4.6s 15 lbs heavier Edited March 21, 2013 by NoSaint

San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Knew this weeks ago.Old And do you speak for everyone on the board including those who might not have known this? Myself for instance? I'd be curious - what were his shuttles and cones? For a 34 olb those tend to be pretty good indicators (as far as any test in shorts can be, keep in mind) Maybe NoSaint was also curious about his combine work?
Buffaloed in Pa Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 And do you speak for everyone on the board including those who might not have known this? Myself for instance? I thought you knew everything ? Jeesh.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Or do we only have to cater to you in this discussion? I thought you knew everything ? Jeesh. Oh. I see. Say no more.
808 Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 reports he tweaked his hammy early in the workout but wanted to finish it out. i really dont care about his 40 time to be honest hes not a speed specialist rusher. hes got a wide range of moves and plays much quicker. 40 shmorty
VanCity Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I'm of the opinion that if Geno is gone and Barkley isn't their guy, then go BPA. Jones, IMHO, fits the bill based on a proven history of results and an examination of his play. I worry about Dion Jordan being another Maybin...and I definitely want nothing to do with another Maybin...
KOKBILLS Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I'm of the opinion that if Geno is gone and Barkley isn't their guy, then go BPA. Jones, IMHO, fits the bill based on a proven history of results and an examination of his play. I worry about Dion Jordan being another Maybin...and I definitely want nothing to do with another Maybin... Dion Jordan is 100 times the NFL prospect Maybin was...Jordan was an all-purpose OLB at Oregon...He can do it all...They even asked him to cover slot receivers at times...And even though Maybin was a good athlete, Jordan is a better one... There were plenty of people warning NFL teams about Maybin going in to his Draft...Mike Mayock even did a special little segment on The NFL Network where he said Maybin should not be a 1st Round pick...The Bills, and Dead Dick specifically, just thought they were smarter than most concerning Maybin...He was WAY over-drafted... I don't worry about Jordan at all...I think that kid is a serious prospect...

He might still bust but IMO he's not comparable to Maybin. Anyways, what were your opinions about Von Miller and Bruce Irvin? Did you think they would also become Maybins? Just curious.
Formerly Allan in MD Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Spinal stenosis is a serious condition. It is either genetic or arthritic (post trauma)...there is narrowing in his spinal canal that can cause/will cause neurologic pain, etc. in his arms, shoulders (hell, if serious enough, he could lose alot more). The disc gel has been forced to almost herniate out of the disc membrane and once it does...hello c5-c6 discectomy or fusion. Surgery is on the way...the only question is if it is one hit away or 500 hits. Peyton Manning had surgery...and it was successful - but his game is not dependent on (nor does he get paid) driving players to the ground head first. I respectfully vote NO Me too!
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 He doesn't have a problem with his spine it was misdiagnosed. Also did anyone see him run his forty? It looked like he pulled something during it.
NoSaint Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 He doesn't have a problem with his spine it was misdiagnosed. Also did anyone see him run his forty? It looked like he pulled something during it. which time? if the first why did he run again, if the second why did the first go so poorly?
C.Biscuit97 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I think the guy is a beast but it is so risky. The hindsight people love to point out missing on Gronk. What they don't like to point out is that he missed his entire last year of college with a back injury. If Gronk hurts his back again, people are ripping the Bills for being homers and taking a stupid risk. When you're the Pats, you can take that risk. Unless it's a QB, the Bills aren't in a position to take that risk right now. He'll probably fall to Pittsburgh and become an all pro. But they can take that chance. We can't.
Not at the table Karlos Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Total access only played one run. Don't know if it was the first or second. And I wouldn't know what he was thinking u would have to ask him
boyst Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I was high on him, and high on Dion Jordan. I am not sure the team needs to be high on them, but I am impressed with them. If Dion Jordan comes out like Von Miller then he will provide an impact to the team he joins. I just do no think Jones abilities will make up for his lack of speed in the bigs.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I know people worry about the timed 40 but anyone else agree with me when I say there is a difference between timed speed and game speed? CBF I was high on him, and high on Dion Jordan. I am not sure the team needs to be high on them, but I am impressed with them. I dont think anyone ever called Miller a tweener. CBF
