Maddog69
flynn was drafted in the 7th round..............give up a 5th rounder at best if everyone insists we must get him... Tom Brady was a sixth round pick, we should be able to get him for nothing more than a 4.

WhitewalkerInPhilly
Well, as I'm looking I don't think that in the end he's not a bad choice. Can I look at him and say "There's someone, ANYONE, in the draft who is better than him?" I keep thinking that I don't see it. Of course, there's the problem with his contract. He's being paid like a sure thing, while nothing is further from the truth. If he was willing to take less, I would say yes. If not, I say there is a lot less risk in getting a rookie with an incentive heavy contract.
BillsFanForever19
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/03/29/report-trade-for-flynn-appears-imminent/ Matt Flynn might have a new team sooner than expected. According to Ed Werder of ESPN, there are talks about a trade for the Seahawks backup quarterback, and a deal appears “imminent.” The Jaguars apparently took themselves out of the running this week, which would leave the Bills and Raiders among the usual suspects for a deal. The Raiders would have to make a call on Carson Palmer quickly if it was them, while the Bills were sniffing around Kevin Kolb as well. Flynn’s overpaid, sure, but Seahawks starter Russell Wilson being so underpaid (which he’ll remain for two years) keeps them from giving Flynn away. UPDATE 3:14 p.m. ET: Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network says relatively definitively that it’s not the Bills. Which narrows the list considerably. So we're (reportedly) out and the Jags are (reportedly) out. Does that mean Matt Flynn will be a Raider and Geno will fall to us now?
K D
It's the Raiders. They were our only competition for Geno IMO. We better get him now! Edited March 29, 2013 by kdiggz
Erik
It's the Raiders. They were our only competition for Geno IMO. We better get him now! I wouldn't rule out Philly although I agree that Oakland was a bigger threat to take Geno
Beebes Bubble
Flynn is a Raider. From Doug Baldwins Twitter (https://twitter.com/DougBaldwinJr): "Wishing Flynn the best on his endeavors in Oakland. Sad to see a friend leave, but excited for his opportunity. Great QB, even better man."
