Smith in San Fran hitting the market is a given. Carroll is dropping major hints Flynn will be too. Bills really need to land one of these guys.

..........

With a particularly weak crop of quarterbacks in the draft this spring, the former Packer could see significant interest from several teams searching for a signal-caller. Carroll said that with the mobile-Wilson under center, it would be advantageous to have another quarterback with a similar skill-set, as opposed to Flynn's traditional pocket-passing ability.

"We've talked a lot about that," Carroll said, according to the News Tribune. "It would be nice to have another guy that might be able to be a factor that way. There's some really good kids out there. We'll see."

".... As we move forward we're going to figure it out. "

Round trip Travaris Jackson.

Lol good catch. But carroll did say he wants a youngin, TJ will be 30 next season. He also said he needs pass rushers. How about moats or Moore and a 6th for Flynn?

I wouldn't want to trade *much* for Flynn. He hasn't proven anything yet, except that he had a good game at an opportune time. Same could be said for Frank Reich way-back-when, but teams weren't lining up to trade for him.

What is the guarantee Flynn is not Fitz 2.0?

Nothing in the NFL is ever guaranteed, wtf kind of question is that?

Flynn lost out to a rookie QB..ya, wilson played great, but flynn still lost out to him from day 1.

Maybe trade a 4th rounder for him but would still need to draft a QB in round 2 or 1.

Flynn was hurt in camp. And wilson delivered. No shame on Flynn in this scenario. Seattle could have 2 viable starters, we have none

+1

The verdict is still out on Flynn. Whatever happened this past summer with Seattle is not an indictment of his potential as a starter.

He led LSU to the BCS Championship. Even though he didn't play(hurt) the team went on to win against Ohio State. He also threw 3 TDs and one Int against NE while with the Packers and had a chance to win the game before getting sacked at the end of the game. He has performed well in his career but never really got a shot having played behind some really good starting QBs.

I agree with you and Joe both. Hope they have been looking at him.

Sure cant hurt at this point depending how they feel about Jackson of course.

The thing that would concern me about this trade is it's with Pete Carroll. Pete says he just wants a younger running QB. Really? Do you believe that? The guy could sell ice to Alaskans. If the football thing didn't work out for him he'd be a great used car or refigerator or software or <name of product of choice> salesman. I'm thinking he knows the guy is not that good and is trying to pump him up and trade him off before he actually has to play him someday.
