Maddog69 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 A lot of former players on the coaching staff.
GG Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 A lot of former players on the coaching staff. I like the old Giants blue bloods. Could be a worse franchise to draw from ..
RuntheDamnBall Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Zach Braziller @NYPost_Brazille John Anselmo has signed a contract as an assistant coach with the Bills, per a source. Huge loss for Syracuse and NYC football. It's cool that Pantera going to be on the Bills.
Malazan Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I think not interviewing them is a bad sign. I try to be an optimist despite dismal fan base but if he is not even going to interview coaches who worked here before I think this will become a group of yes men for new coach rather than coaches bringing new ideas to table. Perhaps he feels he needs to dump the good with the bad but is very short sighted. What is next - not signing any FAs because the previous stink from losses? Sounds like he needs to be in stands with fans rather than coaching. This is the problem with a number of posters here. He extended the offer for them to come interview. They did not.

Even if true (I have no idea) I'm not upset either way. I would have liked the OL coach for sure but that's about it. But honestly, this entire coaching staff we had was a jar full of losers. I'm glad we Didnt take a single one of em. Bring in ALL NEW and build from the coaching staff.
drhockey Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 It's cool that Pantera going to be on the Bills. Check out my avatar...it's our new assistant schredding on the guitar! He's a metal legend...
Saint Doug Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Check out my avatar...it's our new assistant schredding on the guitar! He's a metal legend... Not that Anselmo. The one they hired is John. He's a real estate agent from California. http://www.johnanselmo.com/ Or, maybe they hired the golf instructor, also from California. http://anselmogolfacademy.com/ I'm not sure. Could be either one. But I though the Bills would have learned from recruiting from California.

Ennjay Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 I dunno about these guys. They both have hair.

Saint Doug Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Seriously, how are we going to tell these guys apart? Ladies and Gents, I present to you Hal Luther: http://blog.syracuse.com/orangefootball/2012/08/syracuse_university_football_t_155.html
Fan in San Diego Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Is this the same Strength and Conditioning coach Gailey had?
saundena Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Is this the same Strength and Conditioning coach Gailey had? I believe so. Bummer
DonInBuffalo Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 (edited) The article I read that listed the most recent hires also mentioned that Hackett was going to double as the QB coach. So they'll have someone who has never been a position coach (much less coordinator) at the NFL level handling both jobs, which presumably includes grooming the QB of the future. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Edited January 18, 2013 by DonInBuffalo

Saint Doug Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 I believe so. Bummer No, they're different. Well, at least Luther and Ciano are different people. They're both strength & conditioning coaches now. I guess 2 is better than 1.
