NoSaint Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 http://deadspin.com/5975619/titans-wide-receiver-kenny-britt-wanted-for-questioning-in-connection-with-his-brothers-stabbing Amazing how much trouble he gets into..... This makes for about a dozen serious encounters since he got into the league....
Captain Hindsight Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I will never understand how these guys get into trouble like this. You have so much to lose, why risk it?
Wagon Circler Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 What was he supposed to do? Not take his brother to the hospital? Let's hold off on this one til the facts are in.

I bet that most of us know a small handful of self-destructive people. For those people, the level of risk doesn't matter. They just self destruct.

Not be in a position for stabbings and shootings to occur in the first place? Especially given his multiple chances to learn this lesson? Just entering the state of NJ should be a borderline suspendable offense at this point for him. Edited January 14, 2013 by NoSaint

Birthday party at 3:28 AM and he wouldn't cooperate with police. I suppose it's wrong to assume anything about the party, but I don't think we're talking about a game of charades gone wrong.
Malazan Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 So any chance he gets cut and we can pick him up?!!!!!!!!!!!!! :w00t: :w00t:

I imagine there's a lot we don't know.
BuffalooByrd Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 IF he gets CUT, SIGN THE MAN. I watched this guy ball, and he can be a top 10 WR in the league with a decent QB if he stays healthy and trouble free.

Santana Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 This is kind of shady, I mean if you're a celebrity athlete who is out at partying in Jersey City at 3AM you can bet someone who has been drinkin is going to start some s%*t.
NoSaint Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/01/14/police-say-kenny-britt-isnt-cooperating/ Police searching for britt still - say his "anonymous spokesman" is lying when telling media that he is cooperating. Police are publicly asking bud Adams to help them find Britt.

NoSaint Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 I'm awaiting the NFLPA statement on how players are adults who can discipline themselves. You know times are tough when your pr firm declines to put its name on your press releases
billsfan714 Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Tennessee, didnt they draft Pac-Man too, guys can really scout the high character types..
NoSaint Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 Tennessee, didnt they draft Pac-Man too, guys can really scout the high character types.. Quite the run of haynseworth, pacman, VY, and britt When Chris Johnson is both the choir boy and brains of your first rounders for a half decade.... Perhaps it's time to reevaluate your strategy.
Fingon Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I think Britt should turn himself in for a complete interview by the police, said no lawyer ever.

Captain Caveman Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I'm in Jersey City, and wondering where exactly this happened.
