Jerry Jabber Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) With Nix stating the Bills need another big WR, do you think he should pursue Jennings this offseason? Edited January 13, 2013 by Jerry Jabber
NoSaint Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Won't be a good value but that doesn't mean he's not an option - just not a prime one Edited January 13, 2013 by NoSaint
NoSaint Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 No  My only hesitation is if we have a rookie qb, I'm ok with a little foolish spending to insure that he has the weapons to make a transition as smooth as possible.  I'd never target Jennings, but if we miss out on other WRs, signing him to a short deal and drafting qb, LB 1, 2 wouldn't ruin my offseason either.    Is GB not expected to re-sign him?  Major money issues  An actual no to driver. There's a reason you forgot him til they showed him at the end.
Punch Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Targeting Driver would be like targeting Andre Reed in 2001. Jennings will be expensive as heck and I'm under the impression if he wanted to continue playing in a cold weather city at an affordable price he'd stay in Green Bay.
Malazan Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Jennings would be a foolish option. He will likely be the highest paid receiver in the league or very close.

Buftex Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I bet Jennings ends up in Miami... maybe Driver takes a little less to end his career in Green Bay.
rafter Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I bet Jennings ends up in Miami... maybe Driver takes a little less to end his career in Green Bay. Â Miami sounds like the frontrunner. (at least according to rumors)
reddogblitz Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 I'm not really interested in these Cheese guys. They drop a lot of passes. We can do that already without their help.
Malazan Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Surprised GB has cap issues. I don't pay much attention to them being in the NFC, but they seem like a tight ship. Â It's not 'cap' issues. It's money issues. Jennings is likely going to be looking to be the highest paid receiver in the league.
CarolinaBill Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Why not at least reach out to Jennings, a proven commodity, instead of rolling the dice on whether or not a draft pick will develop. We have plenty of cap space to make a qualifying offer.
NoSaint Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Â Â Surprised GB has cap issues. I don't pay much attention to them being in the NFC, but they seem like a tight ship. Â With A LOT of talented players. Each costs money. Especially a qb. Â And with rings, price tags go up for all of them. Edited January 13, 2013 by NoSaint

Omar Little Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Driver is done. They should be interested in Jennings.
John from Riverside Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 so we dont like Dwayne Bowe anymore?
Dragonborn10 Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Let Miami overp ay for Jennings and go after Bowe instead. Hopefully Andy Reid thinks he can get by with no-name WR's like he failed with in Philly.
KollegeStudnet Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 (edited) Did You Know: Donald Driver's rookie year was in 1999...was the last time the Bills made the playoffs, CJ Spiller was 12 years old and gas was $1.14 Edited January 13, 2013 by KollegeStudnet
Coach Tuesday Posted January 13, 2013 Posted January 13, 2013 Donald Driver is 37 and had 8 catches his year. Not to be a dick, but what are you smoking?
