CodeMonkey Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I usually don't watch them at all but caught a little of one yesterday that showed a very bad, and very scripted "interview" of JJ Watt by the Chin. I thought Cowher was going to have to wipe something of JJ Watts off of his chin by the end of it, Just sayin.
ganesh Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I love all the "back in the old days, the shows were better" trips down memory lane. I don't know if they were better, they just didn't have Michael Irvin or Warren Sapp. And I think that might be one of the problems. All these pre-game shows mostly have recently retired NFL players and coaches. These are not real journalists or TV folks. They tend to talk too rubbish, yet the networks continue to hire them...Emmit Smith, Tiki Barber, Sapp, Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, Carter all suck and yet they continue to get these contracts...Now there will be Ray Lewis in your living rooms next season.
CardinalScotts Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 NFL network has a good pregame the others are unwatchable
Dennis in NC Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 I can't think of a better way to describe the pregame shows. You nailed it. However, the question that comes to mind is this: how long have been watching The View? Oops. Ummm, well, I uh, that is, my wife watches it, and it's on pretty loud, so it's hard to not hear it. The View has a hideous howling audience, really annoying to be anywhere near the TV when it is on. Thankfully, the football guys have no studio audience.
