Captain Hindsight Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 The Jets are getting torn apart. Seems like everyone sees the ship sinking fast
Punch Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 There's no question that I'm more pleased that the Bills are aggressively filling out their coaching staff with what appear to be intelligent choices--- but coming in 2nd is the large scale defection and dysfunction within the Jest* organization. *not a typo
snafu Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 How many clowns come out of the Jets clown car? Honestly, though, this can't be a bad thing. Three coaches from the same staff of a division rival.
Mango Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Giddy up Our hc is also their former OL coach. Something to note. Now that I think about it I think there is some familiarity there against Brady and co which is nice.
buffalo1983 Posted January 12, 2013 Author Posted January 12, 2013 Not the most experience coach in the league but has played in the nfl before

Punch Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Not the most experience coach in the league but has played in the nfl before Thanks for the updated OP with his resume--- he played DE with the Texans from 2006-09, which means he was a teammate of Mario Williams, and of course played the same position. I wonder if that was a consideration of bringing him in? J..E..T..S... http://www.nydailyne...ticle-1.1238812 Rex thinks David Lee can "fix" Sanchez? Did he see what Lee did for Fitz??

sodbuster Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 I'll have to hit up the d line pub next time I'm in ballston spa.
3rdand12 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 thanks for the info ! Fast work too. See it was true. Very true but not the way we figured Continuity. Right in front of us. Pettine > Weaver Marrone > Hackett. Nice style. Quicker Ramp up. Love these here analytical Bills we got now. Continuity. Billieve in it brothers and sisters
Florida Gator 14 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Most of the Jets' dysfunction was on the offensive side of the ball and Rex Ryan related. As long as we don't take any of their offensive guys, I am just fine with all of these hires!!
3rdand12 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Keep him Whats next hire Cavanaugh the former Jets QB coach ?
jimmy10 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Youth, experience as NFL players... This definitely ain't your father's Bills coaching staff. I'm as cautiously optimistic as anyone, but I love what appear to be bold moves not entirely devoid of intelligence.
NoSaint Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Interesting. I'd assume the Mario tie is total coincidence. Also- Mark Anderson took his spot on the roster if I remember correctly, no?
Jamie Nails Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 As long as they keep hiring guys from the D side, we're good. The jets free agents and cuts- for better or worse are sure to follow.
KollegeStudnet Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 (edited) The Jets are getting torn apart. Seems like everyone sees the ship sinking fast Yup! What's cool is Weaver is from Saratoga Springs, NY Edit: what makes me old...is I remember when he was drafted lol Edited January 12, 2013 by KollegeStudnet
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 These coaches are smart. they know what the Jets have first hand and realize they will probably have another losing season and Rex will be fired. Thus they will all be out of a job. So why not jump now? Smart on Pettine part and thus he recruited the other coaches. I like it if it means the Bills D looks like the Jets D from two years ago!
jr1 Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 Cool signing. I'm down with signing any Jets defensive coaches
NoSaint Posted January 12, 2013 Posted January 12, 2013 The Jets are getting torn apart. Seems like everyone sees the ship sinking fast Both position coaches took promotions with us. Though I agree they are a mess, I wouldn't say weaver is a sign of that.
