BillnutinHouston Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Confirmed Tim Graham @ByTimGraham The Buffalo News has confirmed Syracuse offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is joining Doug Marrone with the Bills Expand In what capacity Timbo?
buffalo1983 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 @ByTimGraham: Nathaniel Hackett will be the Bills' next offensive coordinator.
SBUffalo Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Confirmed. But in what position? He just added to it saying he will be the OC.
buffalo1983 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) People are saying he is suppose to be a "rising star". Lets find out more about this guy before bashing him. Edited January 9, 2013 by buffalo1983
C.Biscuit97 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I will give him a chance but let me clearly state: I freaking hate daddy's boys coaches!!!
JM57 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 To be fair, it says that Hackett will be on Marrone's staff. It does NOT say he will be the OC. So there's still a bit of hope he doesn't get that title yet. It would be nice to have someone considered a "rising star" on staff though
NoSaint Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 OUCH Ill be giving him a hard time after that buddy nix is doomed comment last week. It happens, but it was a bad one.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 "was born December 19, 1979 in Fullerton, California…is married to the former Megan Baumgartner and have a son, Harrison, and a daughter, Briar." Just turned 33 years old.
ganesh Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 People are saying he is suppose to be a "raising star". Lets find out more about this guy before bashing him. Should be "Rising Star" like the Sun.
Punch Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 And that's why I said "the rest of it certainly would." Aah, sorry--- even though I quoted it directly, somehow it didn't "compute".
BRAWNDO Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I am a little less concerned about Hackett being named OC, then who is named DC. Marrone's influence should be evident on Offense.
SBUffalo Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I also think we had this move in mind from the start. I think we want to focus on the DC position big time.
buffalo1983 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Again... @ByTimGraham: Nathaniel Hackett will be the Bills' next offensive coordinator.

No one's bashing him--- but he's incredibly young and inexperienced. It's seemingly the first wrong step so far for this "new era".

Just turned 33 years old. That be more impressive if he actually had to climb the ranks like someone who didn't have a father to get him a job. That said, I hope for the best and it is nice to have some young blood.
