C.Biscuit97
I will give him a chance but let me clearly state: I freaking hate daddy's boys coaches!!!
JM57
To be fair, it says that Hackett will be on Marrone's staff. It does NOT say he will be the OC. So there's still a bit of hope he doesn't get that title yet. It would be nice to have someone considered a "rising star" on staff though

Punch
And that's why I said "the rest of it certainly would." Aah, sorry--- even though I quoted it directly, somehow it didn't "compute".
BRAWNDO
I am a little less concerned about Hackett being named OC, then who is named DC. Marrone's influence should be evident on Offense.
SBUffalo
I also think we had this move in mind from the start. I think we want to focus on the DC position big time.

No one's bashing him--- but he's incredibly young and inexperienced. It's seemingly the first wrong step so far for this "new era".

Just turned 33 years old. That be more impressive if he actually had to climb the ranks like someone who didn't have a father to get him a job. That said, I hope for the best and it is nice to have some young blood.
