San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson. Best quarterback and by far the best wide receiver. My third choice is the pass rusher, Von Miller.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Wow. A lot of votes for Patrick Willis. Many if not most close followers of the Niners feel that Navarro Bowman was the team's best ILB this year. I'm quite surprised to say the least. Also I wonder how many NFL GMs would pick Patrick Willis over Aaron Rodgers. I'm thinking zero. edit: My 4th pick would be Adrian Peterson, by far the best runner in the NFL. With AD, our O-line and Spiller, the Bills running attack would be unstoppable.

Not surprised (though might not agree).

Jim in Anchorage Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Johnson. Best quarterback and by far the best wide receiver. My third choice is the pass rusher, Von Miller. I knew this would happen. OK lets change the rules. 2 non QB players then list a QB if you wish. The important thing is do NOT base your 2 non QB choices on your QB choice. We will not get him. Let me save everyone some typing on QB- Rodgers Luck Brady Manning Edited January 10, 2013 by Jim in Anchorage
NoSaint Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I think those declaring defensive front 7 should specify player being replaced and scheme being run.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Von Miller Vernon Davis Vernon Davis?????? There are no words....
poblano Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) Calvin Johnson Patrick Willis Bowman i benefited from the play of Willis Edited January 10, 2013 by bills chin
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 (edited) And put them on the Bills who would they be? This is gift no payment from the Bills required. NO QB's. Names too predicable. I am interested in other positions. Clay matthews GB Vince wilfork NE RB Adrian Peterson DE JJ Watt ( no QBs, where is the fun in that. Edited January 10, 2013 by Buffalo Barbarian
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Well then, Calvin Johnson and Von Miller. Adrian Peterson third. Sorry to have missed the guidelines.
SBUffalo Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Patrick Willis absolutely has to be on the list. He'll go down as one of the greatest to ever play his position. The dude is a complete game changer. Then I would put Calvin Johnson.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Calvin Johnson, JJ Watt thought about that but Peterson did more to get his team to the playoffs.

If I had to pick ANY NFL player that isn't a quarterback to start my team with, I'd take Patrick Willis.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 I really doubt that any more than a small handful of NFL GMs would take Patrick Willis over Von Miller given any roster. Besides great quarterback play, there is nothing in football more important than rushing the passer. I'm really astounded. no QBs SJ That was mentioned and acknowledged. Thanks.
Jim in Anchorage Posted January 10, 2013 Author Posted January 10, 2013 RB Adrian Peterson DE JJ Watt ( no QBs, where is the fun in that. The idea was not to see the same 4 names over and over. I know who Rodgers, Brady, luck and Manning are. I never heard of this Willis and had to look him up. That's the fun.
