Bills Fan since '64 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 I think without a doubt the Bills dynasty of the 1990s came into being with the three-way trade for Cornelius Bennett. http://www.nytimes.com/1987/12/18/sports/nfl-matchups-trade-for-bennett-pays-off-for-bills.html Once "Biscuit" came on board, the Bills were a force to be reckoned with, and as much fun as the Kelly/Thurman/Andre offense was to watch, nothing was more satisfying than the shutdown Bruce/Bennett defense. I had the same feeling when the Bills obtained Mario and Mark Anderson this past offseason and of course I like everyone else was disappointed. Let's hope that the new coaching alignment can bring back memories of Cornelius Bennett showing up on every tackle no matter where he had lined up on the field. Dominant D is the way to victory.
