thebandit27 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Currently DL coach for Green Bay and former Defensive Coordinator for Carolina from 2003 to 2008, during which the Panthers defense finished in the top 10 in the NFL 3 different times. Here's a nice bio on him from the Packers' website: Mike Trgovac What do you say?
Magox Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Is he an option that is being thrown around by the Bills Brass?
thebandit27 Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 Is he an option that is being thrown around by the Bills Brass? Not that I've seen...just someone that I've been following for a while
BRAWNDO Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) Has a great bio. Edited January 8, 2013 by BRAWNDO
PaattMaann Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 i find it interesting that he voluntarily left a job as a d-cordinator to take a d-line job at green bay....
RyanC883 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Can't interview him until the Packers loose or the week between the NFC Championship and the Superbowl. I think. May be too long to wait, but good find.
PaattMaann Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 he also has good ties to Mike McCoy - so I would bet that if McCoy gets a head job somewhere, if Trgovac still wants to be a d-cord, he may end up wherever McCoy ends up
thebandit27 Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 i find it interesting that he voluntarily left a job as a d-cordinator to take a d-line job at green bay.... I think he left when Fox was fired...wasn't retained under Riviera
Section242 Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 (edited) I think he left when Fox was fired...wasn't retained under Riviera Fox was fired in 2010. Could've been a situation where Fox is told he has to let a few guys go in order to retain his job for the 2010 season then was fired. Just looked he left voluntarily. Was offered contract extension and decline to go to GB. Edited January 9, 2013 by Section242
WhitewalkerInPhilly Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Well, it's promising. He has talent, but the man gave up a DC job with the Panthers to go to Green Bay. Maybe he wanted to work for a team he thought would be a champion. Carolina has been more of a contender than we have as of late, and the Packers are still in the playoffs.

San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 If he couldn't steal a vowel or two for his last name, what does that say about his defense's ability to generate turnovers?
