stevestojan Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I see Notre Dame was nice enough to give Chan a job. 2nd and 3rd and short. Go long.
BringBackFergy Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Ok. This will give us a good idea of what Teo looks like against a Pro Football Team. Alabama is as close as it gets in NCAA and Teo really needs to show up if he's "all that". If he struggles, I have some serious questions about him as a "can't miss" prospect. Ditto that ragman

To be fair, both Womack and Jones, Bama's LG and C are going in the first round. Been saying for weeks that ND hasn't seen this kind of OLine this year. From G to G (Manti's main gap assignment) Bama is as good as many pro teams. Could be a long night for ND if they don't adjust.
NoSaint Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I see Notre Dame was nice enough to give Chan a job. 2nd and 3rd and short. Go long. Nearly every game thread I've been in has had comments like this but no ones stopped to think "maybe Chans not the one out of touch, and it's actually me"
TakeYouToTasker Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 A little juggly juggly at the end. I don't think it was juggled, it looks like he made a controlled transfer in anticipation of hitting the ground.
BringBackFergy Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 OT: with the mediocre Sr QB's in the draft, surprised more Jrs aren't declaring like Murray or the Bama QB. Why not...maybe they want to come in next year but this year's draftclass of QB's seems weak
NoSaint Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Terrible call. The fix is in. Right call. Gotta give room.
NoSaint Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) Yup - just explained my theory in more depth. It was the right call. Borderline but not improper. Edited January 8, 2013 by NoSaint
K-9 Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 Right call. Gotta give room. On second thought, I agree with this. GO BILLS!!!

If he can't do it against these guys, there's no way he's going to be able to do it against Pro Teams with full rosters of the best of the best college players. This is really a big test.
Kelly the Dog Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 I think it was a good call. The blocker on Alabama didnt move him much at all. Yes, he caused the fumble, but the ND player was too close and caused the fumble because he was right next to the guy and didnt allow a clean catch whether the Bama blocker was there or not. Tough call and could have went either way, but I don't at all see it as a horrendous call.
NoSaint Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 On second thought, I agree with this. GO BILLS!!! Definitely a tough call with the late signal and being engaged but not something outside the normal application either.
