26CornerBlitz Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Tim Graham just tweeted that the Bills will talk to Hue Jackson next week. This is probably a good move especially if they're considering a Lovie/Hue combo. @ByTimGraham USA Today reports Bills will meet with Hue Jackson next week. Can they do that if the Bengals win? Pretty sure they have to wait.
Erik Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Erroneous! Tim Graham @ByTimGraham I've now been told the USA Today report is erroneous. Based on the reaction to my tweet about it, you're all happy to learn that.

Just Jack Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 This one is for updates only. Take your discussion of individual coaches elsewhere. Non-update related posts will be mass deleted. I understand. Some people don't.
silvermike Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Chip Kelly now being linked to the Eagles. "Cleveland's collective head explodes RT @brianstartare Sources tell me Chip Kelly and the eagles are close to an agreement on a 5 year deal."
Punch Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I posted this in the Chip Kelly thread: FWIW, NFL Network's Ian Rappaport hears the following from around the league regarding the Bills: The Bills' QB situation is certainly a question mark. The other thing is, I hear nothing but good things around the league when it comes to eventual GM Doug Whaley and CEO Russ Brandon. It's rare you hear such positive reviews about, well, anything, but these two are respected. Brandon for his ability to be an administrator, Whaley for his personnel prowess. People love old Steelers alums, and Whaley would like to build in the model of what we see in Pittsburgh. The phrase I heard most often with regard to Buffalo's situation? "They are in good hands." Something you don't often hear.
BuffaloBob Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 I just saw this update from ABC Sports. http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/browns-waiting-meet-time-kelly-18141787 It appears that there is more than meets they eye here regarding bad blood between the Bowns and Eagles. Of note is that the Bills are not being mentioned as still being in the mix.
The Beautiful East Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter Filed to ESPN: Doug Marrone has agreed to leave Syracuse and become the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills.
