I guess I was hoping to hear from someone who follows recruiting, reads Rivals, etc.

It seems like Oregon has more talented players than K-State.

But a lot of times, those kind of perceptions are subjective.

K state goes mostly 2-3 star guys, but ones that fit the system, and they hit on a qb. They claim not to follow any of the hype and focus on their own evaluations. Very blue collar.

Oregon has a lot of recruitment violations in the pipeline, if that gives you a quick idea as far as their varied targets and styles.

Here's what I was looking for fellas:

http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/teamrank/2013/all/all

It sorts by year too.

2013: Oregon 42nd, K-State 57th…

2012: Oregon 16th, K-State 58th

2011: Oregon 9th, K-State 68th

2010: Oregon 13th, K-State 63rd

More than likely, this proves my observation that Oregon was the much more talented team.

2009: Oregon 32nd, K-State 92nd

Ummm, okay. Gotta remember the statistical analysis delta between coaching prospects moving forward.

I'm going to shove my head in an oven now. I had a coach who never said anything but "plant, root and drive". Lets get him instead.
