mrpunchy
1979-80 Missouri (defensive assistant) 1981-88 Weber State (defensive coordinator) 1989-93 Washington State (defensive coordinator) 1994-99 Dallas Cowboys (DB coach) 2000-06 Dallas Cowboys (defensive coordinator) 2007 Atlanta Falcons (defensive coordinator) 2008-present Cincinnati Bengals (defensive coordinator) That looks like a fairly good resume to me. But apparently talks to honestly about how he feels. Can you imagine someone who is honest? I just don't get it.
Dr. Fong
In all honesty I'd rather have an offensive mind at head coach. I know it's not a popular opinion around here, but offense has always been the driving force in the NFL. Defense is always just playing catch up. Fixxxer
He strike me as another great DC with no HC material, my guts tells me so, so don't ask me for links.
JPS
It would not surprise me at all if he got a HC job.

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch
Compounding that is he was an assistant for so long. How come no HC job?? Makes me wonder if there's a reason, maybe it's this "honesty" thing?? He strike me as another great DC with no HC material, my guts tells me so, so don't ask me for links. Nick the Greek
Great resume. I'm actually surprised he hasn't been offered a head coaching gig since 2008.. The Bungles D has been solid
NoSaint
Threads that mention him often mention his mental makeup isn't seen as head coach material Don't have a source but many here have said it, for what it's worth
mrpunchy
The most effective leaders hold people accountable. If that is a problem with mental make up then I guess he is not HC material. Hey maybe the guy is a huge dick but so was Parcells.
Logical Reasoning
Should get an interview.
mrpunchy
In all fairness, he is still coaching this weekend so it's not like interviewing him is even a possibility.

He could be the next Mike Smith or the next Mike Singletary. Not sure the Bills have the luxury of rolling the dice on that one.
