NFL Playoffs "seeding" question

anyone know the actual seeding for the playoffs?

If the Chargers win....do they play the Patriots? Or the Steelers?

If the Jets win...who do they play?

Same question for the Colts and Broncos....

...Packers and Vikings?

...Seahhawks and Rams?

Lowest remaining seed plays at the highest remaining seed in each round.

AFC

1. Pittsburgh (1st round bye)

2. New England (1st round bye)

3. Indianapolis

4. San Diego

5. NY Jets

6. Denver

NFC

1. Philadelphia (1st round bye)

2. Atlanta (1st round bye)

3. Green Bay

4. Seattle

5. St Louis

6. Minnesota

So just take any scenario, and the lowest plays at the highest, and the next lowest plays at the next highest.

The lowest seed plays highest seed. So.....

If Jets and Indy win, Jets go to Steelers, Indy goes to Pats

If Jets and Denver win, Jets go to Pats, and Denver goes to Steelers

If Chargers and Denver win, Chargers go to NE, Denver to Pitt

If Chargers and Indy win, Chargers go to Pitt, Indy to NE

If Rams and Vikings win, Rams go to Falcons, Vikings to Eagles

If Rams and Packers win, Rams go to Eagles, Packers to Falcons

If Seahawks and Vikings win, Seahawks go to Falcons, Vikings to Eagles

If Seahawks and Packers win, Seahwaks go to Eagles, Packers to Falcons

That should be every combination. Someone check it for me.

To put a different twist. Hey I am bored today at work...

If Indy wins, it will play the patriots (seeds 4, 5, 6 all are lower than Indy's 3rd)

and winner of the other game will play at Pittsburgh.

If Indy loses, which means Denver wins, then Denver will play at Pittsburgh

as Denver is the lowest seed and the winner of the other game will play at

Pittsburgh.

To put it short, the outcome of the Indy-Denver game really decides who

plays at whom in the divisional round
