I wonder what is gonna happen here. The cop is doing their job, and some say, the pap was doing his job. I error on the side of the police in this situation... BUT, the guy should have stayed put... Poor judgement to send the pap through the hazard again. He would have been safer to stay put. I mean, the pap made it to that location safely... Sending him back through the hazard is extremely dangerous. Heck, don't they even warn you on NYS Thruway tickets to stay with your broken down vehicle... ? Can it be partially negligent?... Personally, @ my work... I can think of a few situations where somebody is doing something wrong (and it pisses me off) BUT, I would be partially negligent if I made a wrong judgement call. Same with this cop. Don't get me wrong... Not saying the cop is totally negligent here... Who would have known? Actually, yes... The pap should have never put himself in that situation.
