VABills Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 This is worse than the waiting for the fiscal cliff compromise. Stop the ferris wheel, I want off.
jr1 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Ralph and Russ enjoyed the lobster bisque Ralph made in his Montel Williams juicer
RkFast Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Being here in NYC, every single sports observer remembers the INFAMOUS presser when the Jets' owner Leon Hess intro'd Rich Kotite. Unfortunately, I have a gut feeling a similar debacle is about to take place.
dhg Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 @alexmarvez #Bills news conference going 2 announce Russ Brandon overseeing football operations, source told @FOXSports.com. Buddy Nix will report 2 him Consider me underwhelmed if that's it. RB should stick to trying to move "inventory".
GG Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Yet the best contributors to the team came in under Brandon watch as GM....
Punch Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Maybe Buddy stays through the draft and then new GM takes over? They will miss out on a young GM candidate such as Caldwell at this rate. I want a new young Football Guy running the Bills making the coaching and personnel decisions. Buddy is not the right guy IMO. Same here. Maybe Nix remaining and reporting to Brandon will be a temporary setup as they look to name a new GM. Some sort of process in that vein may be the best case scenario.
papazoid Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 howard simon says nix staying on as gm......russ brandon named team president
zonabb Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Yet the best contributors to the team came in under Brandon watch as GM.... ????????????
tito1 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) Oh my god - ralph no longer making calls Edited January 1, 2013 by tito1
bigK14094 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 EWWWWW!!! this makes some sense to me, although I don't like. Brandon is not a football mind, and should not be fooling with that side of the business. (President or not) Having said that, IF I was planning to have Buddy around a little while longer, and have, say, Whatley take over. AND, I wanted to have Whatley report to Brandon at that time. AND, I wanted to avoid an racial overtones when the change is made, I would have Nix report to Brandon until he is gone, and his replacement Whatley then automatically reporting to Brandon. It would be bad optics to make the promotion and change of reporting at the same time. Anyhow, thats in the for what its worth category.
papazoid Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 raplh passing the torch to russ... ralph said to russ " it's your show"
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I give up, what the hell is a mofo?? Is it on like a mofo?
mousetrap08 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 To announce that the Bills are leaving the NFL to to join the lingerie football league in hope of winning a championship for the fans of Buffalo
26CornerBlitz Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 New Power Team Russ-Buddy-Whaley. Ralph out of Football decisions. Eh!!!
atlbillsfan1975 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 brandon was horrible at the first time. but he definitely is good at selling off home games to toronto. @#!$%%!$%!#@#$@@@!!!!!!!! WILSON!!!!! :wallbash: :wallbash: Exactly!!! I was hoping for a total change. Nix down to everyone would be replaced. A older statesman like Polian brought in to head football operations. Someone who is respected around the league. Polian hires a good young promising guy to be GM, like Dave Caldwell. Caldwell than brings in a HC and they find the QB together. Nope, same approach RW has taken over the last decade at least. Polish the turd and hope we buy it!!!
jimmy10 Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I give up, what the hell is a mofo?? If you have to ask, you'll never know, mofo.
Dorkington Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Typical. I'm not sure if any of his moves have shown a single positive result. Even the belle of the ball, CJ, shouldn't have been drafted since we had two 1000 yard backs when he was drafted.
GG Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 ???????????? Of the bills players who may sniff a pro bowl, only Spiller came in under Buddy's watch.
zonabb Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Of the bills players who may sniff a pro bowl, only Spiller came in under Buddy's watch. Was Brandon the GM at some point?
