Delete This Account Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 I didn't suggest the Bills "owe" anything to the media, but they have a mutually beneficial working relationship that is hopelessly intertwined with one another. It is common professional courtesy, and if it weren't so common, I don't think these particular reporters would have expected what amounts to a simple "heads up". I'm not sure what your rant is about concerning "credibility" or media idolatry. It's not relevant to anything I posted. better one. jw
Kiwi Bills fan Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 +1. Remember, Spiller got 74 rushes as a Rookie, 107 in his second year, and even this year still just 207. That's 388 in three years, while Alfred Morris got 325 this year as a rookie 6th rounder. People thought Spiller was a bust after two full seasons (I wasn't one of them). Hard to know, but I think that our roster is a lot more talented than when Nix got here. I'm happy to turn over the GM duties to a stud HC if needed, but I'm very open to Nix staying otherwise. I agree with you. If the "right" coaching staff is put in place, I believe we will find to have more talent than first believed. I only caught about half of our games this year, and was shocked by how many times Bills players looked totally confused, right before the snap. This was especially the case with the defense and Gilmore. Williams was a highly regarding CB coming out of college. I'm praying that better coaching will show a significant improvement. Go Bills

By the way I went to the Philly tribune, is that their paper, and they two had stories from this AP place which our own beloved hacks write for.... Hmmm Why do they "owe" the media anything? I don't get the love affair with the hacks that cover this team. We have the worst collection of reporters in a major sports market. Read any other paper in a real news market and these hacks can't sharpen the pencils for copy editors in NYC, Boston, Philly, Chicago, LA... You get the picture. A real journalist wouldn't hang out without some assurances of a presser. If there wAs no presser, it's their fault for hanging it. This board loves the fact that some guys like Wawrow troll here because you think it makes this board credible but it actually makes these guys lack credibility. So I guess the team is obligated everyday to tell the media there are no press conferences? Start a poll? who'd rather read your posts vs. pro writers with contacts that post insight, info or article links. Prove your credibility....

Buddy is waiting at One Bills Drive with the on call video crew to do the final edit. The video isn't for the fans, it's for potential coaching candidates. From what my source said it is a montage of several front office personalities covering Carly Rae Jepsens "Call Me Maybe". THAT is how they plan to lure a big name coaching candidate to Buffalo. LOL
