tito1 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If its true he denied us last time, then I sure as hell hope he doesn't get any job in Buffalo. That's BS
NoSaint Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 If its true he denied us last time, then I sure as hell hope he doesn't get any job in Buffalo. That's BS i know, right. how dare he not interview at a time and place of our choosing!
Mike in Syracuse Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Mike Mularkey 2.0. This guy is really no different from Greggo, Jauron, Gailey etc.
Billsguy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Don't know if Grimm is the answer, but I like the fact that he is a hard nosed kind of guy. This team needs to get mentally tougher and grow a set and Grimm might be the right guy to instill this kind of attitude. I am tired of the Bills getting pushed around and laughed at. Sounds like a perfect fit for the Bills? Let the Bills hire the offensive line coach who led the Cardinals who had the WORST running game in the league. He was also the assistant head coach to one of the most pathetic teams in the league (Arizona). He has all the attributes the Bills covet in a head coach- a proven failure at another dismal franchise. Sign him up Ralph!!!!
seq004 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Yeah he'd be a Nix guy. Thats why he needs to go too. We need a young hungry coach and thats not Grimm. I would like Bill O'Brian. Edited December 31, 2012 by seq004
Fergs2323 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Really Russ Grimm? Jesus. What a typical blunder that would be. Sometimes you can't make this crap up.
KOKBILLS Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Sounds like a perfect fit for the Bills? I would have to believe that the Bills will be the only Team in the league interviewing Grimm for a HC job...And that says a lot...Nothing good of course...I just don't understand how a fired Assistant from the side of the ball that was god-awful in Arizona, a 5-11 team, gets an interview to be a HC???...How is that even possible???...It's mind-numbing to me...Only the team that hired Dead Dick Jauron, and Gailey, is capable of this type of incompetence...Freaking ridiculous...
Keukasmallies Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I think it's a corollary of the Peter Principle of management in that the Bills seem to always assist individuals rise to their level of incompetence
thebandit27 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I'm not certain that the Bills are interviewing Grimm until they announce it...for all we know, the radio host could've gotten it wrong and they were inquiring about Ray Horton. Let's all relax until we know more.
thewildrabbit Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Here we go again! Why fire one loser for another? It does seem appropriate that the Bills would interview and possibly hire a guy that was fired from his last job, just like Gailey was.... this has to be Buddy Nix. Another teams garbage right? Have you watched Arizona's offensive line lately? Yea, worst in the NFL... I know the Bills were sorta interested in Grimm in 2010. Man, we can only hope this is just an interview.
KOKBILLS Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I think it's a corollary of the Peter Principle of management in that the Bills seem to always assist individuals rise to their level of incompetence Brilliantly said!!!
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I'm intrigued. He was a hot commodity a few years ago. It would be interested to see who he would bring in as his coordinators. I like the idea of having a HC who is not also a coordinator/playcaller on one side of the ball. I know that Russ is well respected around the league. I would be OK with him as long as he has strong coordinators. and he knows how to manage a game.
Bob in STL Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 The Cardinals have one of the worst lines in the league. The Bills need to hire a smart man, Grimm is not a smart man. You mean like Buddy Nix?
Dr. Trooth Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Please. How the hell is Grimm an improvement... one of, if not the worst OL in the NFL.... and he's the OL coach. Bills fans need to stop there "loser" thinking and startr thinking bigger.
RussellDopeland Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Might as well interview Joe D'Alessandris, who has done a great job with the Bills offensive line in recent years, than Grimm. Sure, Grimm was a "hog", not to mention a Cowher guy; but his lines have sucked in Arizona. He would be another disaster for sure.
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Sirius nfl radio reported this wanted to share
marauderswr80 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Then im done with this team! Id burn everything Bills i own!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 /clears throat http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/154328-russ-grimm/
MURTR Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 correct me if im wrong but 3 yrs ago didnt Grimm turn down the chance to interview with us in order to stay in AZ as an OL coach? he didnt have a lot of talent in AZ but its not like he really coached up that OL at all, they were probably bottom of the league. Also, he has zero prior head coaching experience, no more on the job training.
