DefenseWinzChampionshipz Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I think we need to stop analyzing draft picks on their skill and try a different approach... I say we draft the QB with the hottest girlfriend...
stevestojan Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I have this weird feeling Te'o either goes top 5 or falls to late first. Some will be worried about his "speed" if he doesn't run a 3.9 40 at the combine. The guy would be instantly impactful. A year for this D line to meld and bringing in a stud LB would make me thrilled. My Notre Dame fanmanship has nothing to do with this
aristocrat Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I think we need to stop analyzing draft picks on their skill and try a different approach... I say we draft the QB with the hottest girlfriend... There is some truth to this. Guy with a hot girl has high confidence. Mike Glennon is not gonna get a hot girlfriend so he's not a good qb.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I just can't see them (well, ok...I don't WANT them to) not pick a LB in the first 2 rounds. To me, it's the biggest weakness on the defensive side of the ball. How many fewer yards would they give up on the ground if they had a Patrick Willis/Von Miller type middle LB? This is why I like Te'o...I'd be pleasantly surprised to see him at 8. My wish for a QB is either Glennon, Dysert, or Landry Jones. Von Miller is an OLB. Jelani Jenkins is a great LB and will probably go higher than 5 but that is where he is ranked now. Actually in my opinion smith, Barkley, jones and tyler Wilson are better qb prospects than tannehill foles osweiler probably, so this year is not as bad as many claim.

Hot girlfriend = High maintenance, media attention, new clothes all the time (can't be seen in the same shirt twice in one year) hence the QB has to play for a extension to get paid more = Superbowl... It's really simple when you think about it...
