Just Jack Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 So what does Ralph say to Chan at this party? "Here's my plate, go get me some more of that shrimp."
WotAGuy Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 So what does Ralph say to Chan at this party? "Who invited the homeless guy?"
RuntheDamnBall Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 "Here's my plate, go get me some more of that shrimp." "The ocean called..."
Mr. WEO Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 FWIW - I choose to believe this because the tax ramifications are monstrous. Rich people don't get to be rich by pissing away hundreds of millions of dollars on taxes when they don't have to. I have to admit, it would be at least slightly amusing to have to thank the government for raising taxes to bring this situation to a conclusion. But it is sad to think Ralph's only motivation for selling (if true) was to save money, not to improve the lot of the team and it's fans...
BillsFanForever19 Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 So what does Ralph say to Chan at this party? "Uh listen, I just signed the team over. But I gotta tell ya: it wasn't pretty dude. I mean GOD DAMN! Like, sign your team over, BAD. I just did it. I'm out. You should be ashamed of yourself and may god have mercy on your soul". ..... or something to that nature.
transient Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 T-mobile girl is Carly Foulkes, not Jessica Pare. Doh! I stand corrected.
Boom Jam Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 SDS - you are the biggest hypocrite ever. You have never once discouraged the hate against Ralph Wilson that gets posted here each and every day. Until now? What changed? Just Jack - you are a tool and a pawn.

jumbalaya Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 We should all thank Ralph for 20 years of great Bills football and for 30 years of having something to B word about. God speed Ralph.

mrags Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 But it is sad to think Ralph's only motivation for selling (if true) was to save money, not to improve the lot of the team and it's fans... why is it sad? It's a business. Always has been. He owes nothing.
White Linen Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 But it is sad to think Ralph's only motivation for selling (if true) was to save money, not to improve the lot of the team and it's fans... I don't know that we could say it's his "only motivation". Isn't it possible it's just prudent?
PromoTheRobot Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 This would make selling tickets like shooting fish in a barrel for Brandon. I'm skeptical as heck, but i'll be tuned in tomorrow. Naw. People will still be skeptical. PTR
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 This thread is so sad. I never thought I would have wished for trolling, but that would at least make some sense here.
Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 I thought the rumor was he was giving up control, not selling the team? If that's the plan at best maybe he sells a 5% or 10% share to Kelly so he saves some capitol gains tax on that portion of the sale which may go up around 5% more in 2013. So he saves 5% tax on a 10% sale price. So if the team is worth $800 mil, 10% is worth $80 mil and 5% of that is around $4 mil. I mean I'd take it, but on someone who's worth over a billion $$ hard to believe he's doing this to save $4 mil. I think it's being done for other reasons IMO RW has figured out he can't do it anymore and it's no longer fun, so he's doing what's best for the team and giving up control. But it is sad to think Ralph's only motivation for selling (if true) was to save money, not to improve the lot of the team and it's fans...
Best Player Available Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Faith Hill's legs on Sunday night intro are amazing link?
Wing Man Posted December 31, 2012 Posted December 31, 2012 Ralph's legacy in Buffalo is huge, and may be made larger based on the contents of tomorrow's presser. If it includes a sale or a path to keeping the Bills in Buffalo, he will have sealed his impact on the WNY community. It also may be an indication of failing health for Ralph which would be a terrible shame. The need for video editors could indicate problems Ralph may have communicating.
