26CornerBlitz Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Cam Newton: I could have handled Super Bowl presser in a better way Newton's postgame press conference was short and curt, and it angered a lot of people.
ndirish1978 Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/09/25/cam-newton-denies-report-hes-seeing-a-mind-coach/ He'll crack Tebow had more wins in 11 games than Newton in 16. He puts up stats but he doesn't win. And BTW, he has a solid D, top WR, & solid RBs. The Newton apologists sound like sycophants. Well, good thing he wasn't able to draft him. Cam's not looking like one of those QBs that can squeeze out a win for his team when one's not there. Absolute gems
KD in CA Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Cam Newton: I could have handled Super Bowl presser in a better way I wouldn't say it angered a lot of people. I think it mostly validated what a lot of people already thought of him.

KD in CA Posted April 29, 2016 Posted April 29, 2016 Good to see him develop more self awareness. Yes, it's a good data point for him. He needs to grow up a bit if he's going to handle adversity better than he did on and off the field during the SB, but he's obviously working from a position of strength. Guy could be a HOF.

Jauronimo Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 You can dab and still lead. I thought Cam would fall on his face in the pros. Thought he came across as phony and arrogant. His teammates love him, however, and I'll take their word for it. I've since changed my opinion. Pretty sure the guy just likes to mess with the media.
