KOKBILLS Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 Or is he waiting for the Bills to make a decision?? Could be...If it's true that Caldwell really wants to come to Buffalo, my guess is they know it...And he already knows if the interest is mutual...That's what Agents are for...

KOKBILLS Posted January 1, 2013 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) who is saying he wants to come here? Don Banks... Technically he said Caldwell would "welcome the opportunity..." http://sportsillustr...l-coaches-2012/ Edited January 1, 2013 by KOKBILLS
26CornerBlitz Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 @RapSheet Hear #Falcons VP of player personnel David Caldwell is meeting with #Jaguars today. He reportedly met with em earlier. Keim also candidate So much for heading to the Bills.
agardin Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I think the Whaley promotion took care of that possibility. There is nothing for the Bills to offer him in terms of promotion.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 I think the Whaley promotion took care of that possibility. There is nothing for the Bills to offer him in terms of promotion. And in fact, is Caldwell any better of an heir-apparent than Doug Whaley?
NoSaint Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 And in fact, is Caldwell any better of an heir-apparent than Doug Whaley? Whaleys not from buffalo. Caldwell would understand the need to set up the nassib-Roosevelt passing attack in 2013, while Whaley probably just wants to get the best guy available - whadda bum. Seriously though, from the outside, it's 100% impossible for a fan to have any meaningful opinion between the two right now.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 2, 2013 Posted January 2, 2013 Seriously though, from the outside, it's 100% impossible for a fan to have any meaningful opinion between the two right now. True. And Caldwell is a moot point anyways. The herd has moved on.
26CornerBlitz Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 (edited) @MikeSilver: Dave Caldwell will be the Jags' next GM Bye Bye Meathead. @JasonLaCanfora Jags very likely to announce they are parting way with coach Mike Mularkey this week, with the GM search over. Still hear Greg Roman Edited January 8, 2013 by 26CornerBlitz
NoSaint Posted January 8, 2013 Author Posted January 8, 2013 @MikeSilver: Dave Caldwell will be the Jags' next GM Bye Bye Meathead. good for caldwell. bit of a tough spot, but it looks like the owner will spend... hopefully he wont get to involved in decisions and public spats with players though.

Wonder if they addressed the Tebow issue. Hopefully Caldwell had the stones to tell the owner NFW that I take the job if you force him on me.

Punch Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 The Caldwell/Roman combo that so many wanted in Buffalo is very much a possibility in Jacksonville: Jason La Canfora @JasonLaCanfora Jags very likely to announce they are parting way with coach Mike Mularkey this week, with the GM search over. Still hear Greg Roman
taterhill Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Congrats to an old friend on getting the GM job in Jacksonville...Good luck bud....I was hoping it was here instead
