Superman12975 Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 Hopefully this is not a rumor but a forecast of things to come. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20121227/black-monday-nfl-coaches-2012/?sct=uk_t11_a5
SBUffalo Posted December 27, 2012 Posted December 27, 2012 This was posted elsewhere, but either way I think it speaks the truth about the situation. I think Gailey is gone and Nix has his fate teetering with no decision being made yet.
Superman12975 Posted December 28, 2012 Author Posted December 28, 2012 Yeah...I realized after I posted the link someone else beat me to it.
PromoTheRobot Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 A lot depends on how involved Ralph still is. It's possible Ralph is too ill and frail to manage the Bills. In that case on who sure the decision fall? PTR
Best Player Available Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 (edited) A lot depends on how involved Ralph still is. It's possible Ralph is too ill and frail to manage the Bills. In that case on who sure the decision fall? PTR With a asset worth close to a Billion and a owner that may well be in the state of health you allude to. Unless there is a trusted family member close to the situation, one would have to believe it would be a number of people set up for decisions. A board of directors.Of which Jim Kelly, and Thurman Thomas would not be voting members. I mention that for the people that believe those guys are in any way shape or form skilled to make football decisions.Just too much money involved to allow a single employee that much power. dave mcbride Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 A lot depends on how involved Ralph still is. It's possible Ralph is too ill and frail to manage the Bills. In that case on who sure the decision fall? PTR That's the big question. I don't know if anyone outside the Bills organization has a good idea of his level of involvement at this point. He's pretty old.

Jamie Nails Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I believe the SI article is based on hearsay and speculation at this point. I would in no way consider this a lock.

Just Jack Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I believe the SI article is based on hearsay and speculation at this point. I would in no way consider this a lock. Correct.... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/nfl/news/20121227/black-monday-nfl-coaches-2012/?sct=uk_t11_a5
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Whether or not there's any basis for the SI prediction, many here have been firm in the conviction that Gailey will be fired. Amazingly there are numerous very good posters here who don't seem to think he will be. For weeks I've considered his firing to be a foregone conclusion.
pimp 2 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I can only pray that this will indeed happen.
truth on hold Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I have no idea the validity of the sources or integrity of the author, but I will say that's one heck of an analysis of the bills situation.
Ted Striker Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Rumor : Gailey to be fired Monday! Surely, you can't be serious.
Santana Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I heard the same rumor moments ago, I don't know whether to be happy that he's gone or scared as hell about who they're going to bring in
Best Player Available Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 Maybe a good bye dinner for him at Tempo is in the cards first?
Max997 Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I heard the same rumor moments ago, I don't know whether to be happy that he's gone or scared as hell about who they're going to bring in No reason to be scared, almost impossible to be any worse
jumbalaya Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I believe the SI article is based on hearsay and speculation at this point. I would in no way consider this a lock. I believe that your rejection of the analysis is based on hearsay and speculation. I would in no way consider your declaration that it is hearsay and speculation a lock.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 28, 2012 Posted December 28, 2012 I could see Wilson wanting to go to after Harbaugh, Jack Harbaugh....
