Look at the stats for this joker his first 10 years in the league. No wonder they drafted a QB in the first round to groom as his replacement when he was 32. This guy is a friggin joke.

These stats belong to none other than the immortal John Elway. You don't even want to see his sack totals. Just something to chew on for all the Buffalo experts.

But... But... He did lose 3 SB's in those years! Big game choker!

Just as they did with Plunkett... It will take time to de-New Englandfly this guy!

Hmm, very interesting.

Then again, based on the criteria most of the Crusaders cite, Kelly was a loser who couldn't win the big games either. :D

If I recall, he holds the record for most INTs in a Superbowl game.

EDIT: He threw 7 INTs, including 4 to the Redskins, in a little over three games. Reich also threw two vs the Cowboys.

Kelly's stats from the first Cowboys game:

Kelly 7 4 82 0 2

Yup. Elway and Drew are carbon copies of each other. Same talent level. Same scrambling ability. Same great mechanics and pocket awareness. What were these fans thinking ?

Of course one had TD who was a great RB, the other had who as his RB until this year. He had Curtis Martin for a little while and did well. Other than that he has a bunch of second and 3rd tier or worse running backs.

Yeah. Not like Bledsoe is #10 all time in career passing yardage at the ripe old age of 32 or anything. Funny how a Superbowl ring in the twilight of your career can change the perception of being a career choke artist.

That record belongs to none other than Drew in his only appearance vs. the Packers

So he's just fooling us with his horrid play ? The OL didn't throw those bad passes or hold the ball far too long, resulting in negative plays. He did.

Elway and Drew have little in common. Drew isn't even in the same solar system as Elway, in regards to talent.

Career stats ? Who cares after watching him fail for the better part of 2 years ?

Posted

Just more proof that stats don't mean jack when comparing QB's. Bledsoe doesn't hold a candle to Elway for many reasons, two off the top of my head are "The drive" and "the drive 2." When's the last time Drew led a late game comeback in a regular season game, let alone a playoff game?

And yet he had a winning record this year... And has had only one losing season since being here.

Oh wait, I forgot, all wins are despite him and all losses are because of him. :D

October 5th, 2004, vs the Bengals, the 22nd comeback of his career (averaging 2 a year).

Could've been higher if, for example, the defense would've stopped the Jets from driving down the length of the field and scoring. But that's Drew's fault too.

While it wasn't a comeback, it sure is Drew's fault that Nate couldn't knock down the pass on 4 and long. Or any of the defenders in the end zone.
