seq004 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I was watching NFL Network and they were looking at the Lynch 50 yard run and it shows Barnett out of position then just quitting.Hodge said he quit on the play. What happened to this guy? He was a beast last year. Just like the Chris Johnson run which I watched in person. Other than qb our most glaring need is LB
Dean Cain Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 The worse was Russell Wilson's 25 yard TD run remember Dareus giving chase and flapping his hands in the air while giving chase as if WTF are you guys in the LB & 2ndary doing?
jr1 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Chan blames Tarvaris Jackson for Barnett quitting on the play
Beerball Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Mentioned the same thing in the shout box when I saw the replay on Red Zone. He probably wouldn't have caught him, but he gave up way early.
EmotionallyUnstable Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Chan blames Tarvaris Jackson for Barnett quitting on the play classic.

What happened to this guy? He was a beast last year. Just like the Chris Johnson run which I watched in person. Other than qb our most glaring need is LB Someone I know heard the audio from Dareus on that play. Apparently he was screaming that he ate to much cheesecake before the game and screwed up himself at the LOS. Dareus has a lot to prove. 'Nuff said. He came into camp overweight and stayed there for 2012.Some teams know when to cut bait. The packers are one of them. See San Diego (Merriman) for another recent example. Barnett had one year left in the tank. It's empty now.
RyanC883 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Time to stop picking up old retreads like Barnett who are good for a year and draft a nasty LB class this year (I know we tried this last year, I think we need a new GM for this to succeed). Start the tone with J. Jones from GA in the first. Let Scott go back to playing safety which is is natural position. He was winded.
2003Contenders Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Alas, it starts at the top and ripples down. Quite simply, Chan has lost this team.
mrags Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Because he sucks. That's why the Packers let him go even though their LB group sucks. Minus Mathews of course but he's proving to be another one hit wonder that was over rated because he's a white boy with a high motor and long hair.
G-Daddy Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Alas, it starts at the top and ripples down. Quite simply, Chan has lost this team. This!!! The entire team is winded.
Quester74 Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 This!!! The entire team is winded. So is the fan base.
seq004 Posted December 23, 2012 Author Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) So is the fan base. So true. Edited December 23, 2012 by seq004
peterpan Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Good thing we cut one of the LBs we drafted and didnt go after any quality undrafted guys (Burfict cough cough)
Mr. WEO Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I think it's great that Merriman recruited Barnett.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 I think it's great that Merriman recruited Barnett. They are both winded
EmotionallyUnstable Posted December 23, 2012 Posted December 23, 2012 Seems to be a common theme among the defense. Is anyone trying? Man I'll take 100 million dollars to just stand there... Effort is lacking. And that should never in a million years be an issue.
