Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 According NFL network there are trade rumors that the Jets might be interested in Vick and that he would go there if he knew he would start over "Sanchoke". I know we are bad but man the Jets are freaking circus, those dummies would be better off trading for Fitz at least they would get a few TDs with all those ints.
Dr. Trooth Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Aint a QB in the universe that stands a chance with the Jets as long as Sparano is the OC. Sparano may be able to coach an offensive line (debateable), but as an OC or HC, the dude is a joke... bigtime.
KD in CA Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Excellent. If there is one player that can keep the disfunctional circus going in Jetland, it's Vick.
bills1960 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 As long as he doesn't come to Buffalo. I'll take Smith, I'll take Rivers but I want nothing to do with Vick.

apuszczalowski Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I could see the Jets going after Vick, I don't see them going through a full scale rebuild, and I think just like Fitz, Sanchez's time as a starter in NY is done. With alot of their team veterans, I could see them bringing in Vick to try and "win now". Atleast with Vick, they shouldn't have to worry about their turnover stats going down...........................on offence
benderbender Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Yeah Vick is horrible. He has the best offensive line in the league, none of his OL were put on IR. He just throws picks and fumbles for fun. We don't want him to terrorize the puppies in B-Lo. Our QB with no killer instinct is just great.
marauderswr80 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 With that OL i dont see anyone being a fit!

Atleast with Vick, they shouldn't have to worry about their turnover stats going down...........................on offence Jets have rebuilding to do. In addition to being completed unsettled at QB, they have needs on the Oline and linebacker with the likely exit of Scott. They have no idea how their best player on defense (revis) and offense (Holmes) will come back from devestating injury. And even if Holmes is back 100% they don't know if hill or Edwards are legit #2 receivers.
Malazan Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I see Alex Smith a better fit there He is not an option. The Jets would have to gut the team to fit his salary as they have a cap hell situation this off-season (as in they are already over the cap for next season). Alex Smith has a much higher value than Vick.
mitchmurraydowntown Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 The Bills don't do well against mobile QB's, they're terrible to be accurate.
Stealth Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 The Bills don't do well against any QB's, they're terrible to be accurate. fixed

Saint Doug Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I would love Vick going to the Jets. Guarantees us at least a couple divisional wins.
marauderswr80 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I heard on ESPN radio on Mike and Mike that Sanchez next year is making the same exact amount of money as Tom Brady! Thats freaking funny!! Crazy if you think about it!
aristocrat Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 The jets have some balls to make a bold move at the most important position. They still have a top ten and maybe top 5 defense and with a great offensive line like the jets have he could be successful.
truth on hold Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) I would love Vick going to the Jets. Guarantees us at least a couple divisional wins. I just don't see it happening. Vick is well known in the NY market from playing in Philly. I don't think he's well like or respected here. And now that he's mid-30's the argument for taking a chance on him relative to the negative sentiment is a weak one . Edited December 19, 2012 by Joe_the_6_pack
marauderswr80 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Jets OL is struggling bad!!! How do they have a great OL?
