Keukasmallies Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Jim Kelly as savior of the Bills? I hope he has better luck and better business sense than he had in the restaurant business....
Marv's Neighbor Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Teams pay Millions to sign a Tebow OR a TJ and then don't use them???
sir andrew Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 The Jets on and off field shenanigans this season have been an fun distraction from the Bills train wreck.
truth on hold Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 Its official he will be available. NFL.com reporting he will ask jets to trade or release him after the season in wake of being passed over for McElroy.
Nitro Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 RGIII success in the running QB mode and Russell Wilsons exploits this past week show there is a place for this type of QB. Tebow would have to be the starter from day one. I think Jacksonville will be his landing place.
truth on hold Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 Bring him in and draft a qb. Make it an open competition for QB. Lose fitz. Let tebow, rookie, thig and tj earn it in camp.
benderbender Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'd have to guess you might realize that situation might have been more complex than "he lost he sucks" That's not advocating for tebow either I agree, yet disagree. Mildly maybe? Decisions are difficult.
....lybob Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Bring in Tebow, bring back Vince Young, keep Brad Smith and draft Collin Klein - sign Jared Cook and Martellus Bennett in FA bring back Fendi Onobun sign Reggie Bush run a 1RB, 1WR 3TE set, no huddle, hurry up, no punts for the whole game
PromoTheRobot Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 McElroy won a national championship with Alabama. Guy's a winner. PTR
PromoTheRobot Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) http://sports.yahoo....40903--nfl.html Tebow wants out of NY. Marc Trestman, a coach we wanted to interview 3 years ago for the Bills HC job, thinks Tebow can still be great. Trestman's team, the Montreal Alouettes, hold Tebow's CFL rights. So how about the Bills firing Chan and hiring Trestman, who brings in Tebow? (fyi: I'm intrigued by Trestman but not in favor of Tebow.) PTR Edited December 19, 2012 by PromoTheRobot
truth on hold Posted December 19, 2012 Author Posted December 19, 2012 McElroy won a national championship with Alabama. Guys a winner. PTR Tebow won 2 at Florida
vincec Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I wonder if the Jet mockery will continue if they beat the Bills again in two weeks. Who will there be left to mock? Kansas City?

PTR Sure why not, if he he can get Tebow to throw like he did in college we would have the best leader, clutch QB going. These QB coaches (... Lee ) only ruin QBs, Fitz through better last year and Tebow through a hell of a lot better in college than he does now.

Hsp08 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 If Tebow cares about a long term career, the best thing he could do is bite the bullet and go play 2 years in the CFL. It would improve his passing/QB skills immensly, a la Doug Flutie.

He is not a answer unless the question is "who is not an NFL QB?". Trestman could be interesting. The Bills need a leader at head coach - not sure if that is Trestman or if it's someone else. Gailey is not a leader. As much as I dislike the former tub of lard Rex Ryan, he can lead a team. He got more out of the Jets the last 3 years than he should have.
