HamSandwhich Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Wonder what illness? Has it been released, what it is?
Cash Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Thanks for passing along. Presumably two practice squadders will be promoted to fill the spots. Too bad Easley's hurt. He's made some nice plays on special teams, and with Jones out & the season over, it's a perfect time to start him (along w/ Stevie and Russell Wilson T.Y. Hilton Chris Givens T.J. Graham) and see what he can do. Then again, given Chan's comments this week, it sounds like he has zero interest in developing for the future and 100% interest in sticking with what he knows, to try to save his job.
G-Daddy Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Jones is sick of trying to catch passes from Fitz.

NoSaint Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Wonder what illness? Has it been released, what it is? with us eliminated, a common cold can drop a guy on IR at this time of year. one of the reasons the you cant always use causation when looking at a high number of guys on IR and a poor record - i know a lot of times that happens around here.
John from Riverside Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Would be nice to see Taveris Jackson get some damn reps out of one of those spots..... - A starter for another team last year - 3000 yards passing.....with an INJURY TO HIS PASSING ARM

jumbalaya Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 And give up his clipboard skills??? This would derail Fitz' development
sodbuster Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Or they put them in a Oak cask to mellow and age? Freeing up uniforms for previously inactive players I hope. Someone who might actually have a future on the team (not that the two mentioned in this post don't).
Delete This Account Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 was told by Jones' agent, Cliff LaBoy, that the illness is related to the calf injury and not serious. did not expand on how Jones hurt his calf. jw
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 And give up his clipboard skills??? Has Tavaris even been on the sideline to hold a clipboard?
Best Player Available Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Has Tavaris even been on the sideline to hold a clipboard? Saw him in street clothes on the sideline at the TO massacre.
BarkLessWagMore Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 Saw him in street clothes on the sideline at the TO massacre. letting out a great big yawn. It was my favorite part of the game.
3rdand12 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 (edited) I did notice that Thigpen was laughing on the sideline with Fitz while we were losing. Lets get T.J. on the field asap. I dont give a hoot if he knows the playbook. He knows how to throw a darned football ! Something ! anything ! but Fitz, i have seen enough for alifetime. Hells bells put Thiggy out there and let him get a ball to the helmet again. at least we can get a laugh from him. Fitz is a sad thing : ( Edited December 19, 2012 by 3rdand12
NoSaint Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Hogan and Lloyd are both nice stories replacing these two. Doubt either sticks long term. Hogan of course of hard knocks fame and Greg Lloyd of Greg Lloyd fame
Johnny Hammersticks Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 It's time to see what Tavaris Jackson has IMO. WTF does the team have to lose?!?!? If he hasn't learned the playbook by now, then he should just be released.
