BringBackFergy Posted December 14, 2012 Share Posted December 14, 2012 The number of games we chose not to kick (or attempt to kick) a 51+ yd field goal and, instead, punt is disheartening. You guys are much better with stats but I have to think there were three games where we could have attempted a longer kick and could have possibly given us sufficient points to win or tie. If Gailey has no confidence in Lindell to kick over 50 yds why the he!! is he on our team??? Shoot, we can find any number of guys out there to kick long field goals AND deep kickoffs.
