TakeYouToTasker Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Since I began posting here, virtually very thread you've created has been wrongly labled "Entitlement Culture: (random) edition". This time through, you finally posted a link with a story that has quite a bit to do with the entitlement culture, and yet you failed to lable it such. Weird.

B-Large Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 School books are not lacking here. Self-reliance, the spirit of individualism, and the Judeo-Christian values that support marriage and family are. They have been driven out by a government that wants the people to depend on it rather than on themselves, their families and their faith If Unions, Compacent Auto Managament and Global Competition from better Companies turning out Superior products had not transpired on the Domestic Auto Business, Detroit would be a hopping place for the heathens and single moms alike. Detroit suffers from alot of challenges, many of them obvious and shocking, but what they continue to suffer from "doing the same thing, expecting different results".... its not 1950 anymore, cars are not flying off the lots, and it aint coming back anytime soon. Its no different than Government overall. Most Americans suffer from the believe that more "funding" will fix problems that are not of a financial nature.... they are typically of a delivery nature. Its ironic that in places like Detroit politician and unions believe that more money, more benefits, more food stamps, inflated wages will bring back the glory days and lift people up... when the solution is probably do alot less, let people leave Detroit and go to Cities and States where there is production economy and work to be had.
