Donald Duck Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 We already know what Brad Smith, or Jones can do at the WR position. What we don't know is what Marcus Easley can do at the WR position and now the playoffs are pretty much out of reach, Marcus Easley should be evaluated in my opinion. Marcus Easley gives Fitzpatrick a big, fast, physical target that can go up in a crowd of defenders and come down with the football...
Since 1972 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 When throws are made at hip level to 6'7" Chandler, I doubt that Easley's status as a big, physical WR who can come down with the ball in a crowd of defenders will be much of an asset.
Dr. Trooth Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Can you truly evaluate a WR when a weenie armed innacurrate QB is pitching to them? I'm 100% certain Easley can run a 5 yard slant. And, why would Gailey care if he can run a 20 yard out or a post or a deep route? Fitz can't throw them.
Bufcomments Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 I said the same thing. in this post http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/153567-lets-help-the-bills-out-shall-we/ Him and T.Jackson might as well play together some.
KeisterHollow Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Can't agree more. This pathetic staff had better not all of a sudden find a way to WIN the last three MEANINGLESS games, when they know darn well we have guys who need to be evaluated in real games, and they know we need as good a draft position as possible. It's what a good coach would do.

It's what a good coach would do. Don't worry Keister, as long as Gailey is coaching, and Fitz is playing QB, we are NOT going to win our last 3 games. I would be surprised if we scored more than one offensive TD in any one of those games. The Seahawks, Dolphins and Jets all play tough defense. And our O is not fooling anyone.
eball Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Don't look for this to happen until the Bills are officially eliminated from playoff contention.
Since 1972 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Don't look for this to happen until this sunday when the Bills are officially eliminated from playoff contention. Fixed.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Easley has to be evaluated? Did he get sick at another wing eating contest?
....lybob Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 I'd like to see Jarron Gilbert at DE a little bit-
Mr. WEO Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 James Hardy is big and fast. Let's see what he can do....

Nuncha Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Chan is an idiot. Why would he want to see what Easley can do? He knows what Spiller can do and refuses to get him involved.......
jcbillsfan Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 If Easley is not on the active roster it would be criminal like not giving cj 20 touches a game , oh yeah wait ....
jester43 Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 i will go you one further...i think that a year from now when gailey's outta here (lord willing) we'll be smacking our foreheads that he didn't give easley a chance to play....because he's going to turn out to be a good receiver when he gets to play. ruvell martin my azz.

They definitely need to see if he has made some kind of progress with the investment made by keeping him around i think he could be a good WR if for nothing else he would be better than say R Martin , sure he's a ST player but so could Easley be that guy . This thing with the Easley decision goes along with the other head scratchers on the Gailey list ...

jumbalaya Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Not sure Chan can evaluate Easeley if Easley played, cuz it's hard for Chan to see the field when his head is where it is.
Donald Duck Posted December 13, 2012 Author Posted December 13, 2012 You have to earn the right to play with Chan Gailey and I can respect that, but once playoffs are out of the question the rest of the season should become more of a preseason atmosphere where the evaluation of players takes place in my opinion.
PaattMaann Posted December 13, 2012 Posted December 13, 2012 Easley was evaluated, his medical issues are no longer a problem
