Sure I was po'd at first because the way we lost and because a win would have put us just a game behind steelers and Bengals in the WC race, after they both lost today.

But let's be honest, this team wasnt going anywhere and didn't deserve to be in post season this year. The longer they remained relevant, the more aggrivating it was, and the more time and energy I wasted on s futile endeavor.

At least theres clarity on whats needed in the off season and the preparation can start now . And if I happen to catch some of their games on TV I can sit back and enjoy the play better knowing nothings at stake.

I can honestly say that after about 35 years of being a die hard Bills fan, and I still am, these type of losses bother me less each time they occur, and it seems pretty frequently. For the first time ever, it seems like I am losing a little interest and when the game is over I dont' really think about it too much, where as it used to piss me off for days. I can't say I don't care anymore, because I do, I guess I have just given up hope of this franchise ever returning to glory and not being a push over and one of the NFL's biggest jokes. Apparently what so many others say is true, nothing is going to change until ownership does.

Do we really think that Gailey will do this? He doesn't even use Spiller efficiently.

Heck No, he will play his starters and try to finish 8-8 to save his job. I hope it doesn't matter what the record ends with, he needs to go. Hiring him in the first place was a joke. They should throw Tarvaris Jackson out there for 3 games, see it he was worth the draft pick we gave up for him. Not sure anyone can even confirm that he is ever even in Buffalo?

Your comment on "waste of time and energy" is right on. I have always felt than many times the fans have more invested in the team than the coaches, and execs.

This year is almost as frustrating as Jauron was...Gailly has become the obvious issue...play calling, clock management, Spiller issue, all which seem to fans to be so logically fixable. WTF. You walk away from a game feeling you have been cheated...not by the players but by the team.

Is the fix in??? How can an organization be so inept for so long.

They do not deserve your life, focus, love and energy. The feeling of relief is overwelming when they are done. Thank goodness that they play in Toronto.

(Consider how impossilbe that was to say 5 years ago)

Enjoy the season...without the heartbreak of the Bills

This was an excellent summary of how I felt. Although I thought the season was over over two weeks ago

NO, I want this team to win, we've had too many seasons of just playing out the string.

Agree 100%. Why the hell do people spend time on a Bills board if they want the season to end? Your time is so precious that you spend it crying about the time on a Bills' board? I get 16 games a year and keep dreaming I'll get a few more one year. This year's meaningless week 17 Bills- Jets game means more to me than the SB. It sucks to be a Bills fan.

I can certainly understand this perspective. What in saying is in my heart of hearts I knew this team didn't have it this year. Its a relief not having to torture myself any longer pretending they did while suffering thru one poor outing after another.

It's the fan mentality and how sports works. The Bills probably weren't making the playoff if they won. But the Giants made it at 9-7 and won the SB. Who the hell knows? All I know as miserable as the Bills make me, I still hope for the best every single game and enjoy the anticipation of the game. I love the draft but the offseason stuff gets old. But the Bills are my team for better or worse and it sucks when their season is over. There is no team in sports than means 1/ 100 of what they mean to me.
