Bronc24 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Could it be that Buddy and Chan knew there'd be some rough spots but did not want a QB controversy and potentially divisive locker room?
Buffalo Barbarian Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Could it be that Buddy and Chan knew there'd be some rough spots but did not want a QB controversy and potentially divisive locker room? No they actually believe in Fitz
gumby Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I think you're giving them way more credit than they deserve to have.
marauderswr80 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Could it be that Buddy and Chan knew there'd be some rough spots but did not want a QB controversy and potentially divisive locker room? No... This team has play makers we dont use them! Glad these idiots didnt draft a franchise QB....theyd ruin him for life!
PastaJoe Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Probably the same reason why they cut Vince Young and won't even dress Tavaris Jackson. I'd rather try either at this point.
Bronc24 Posted December 10, 2012 Author Posted December 10, 2012 I suppose I am trying to rationalize the irrational way this team has been run for the last three years and beyond.
Iowabillsfan4life Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 And just think instead of tj graham in the 3rd was russel wilson sitting there
marcre Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 They didn't draft a QB because they have no clue what they're doing. It really is that simple.
mjt328 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 They suck at recognizing talent. They actually think they can win with Fitz. They actually didn't think any QBs available would amount to anything. There is no master plan. They are just idiots.
Dean Cain Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 This is a team that took Spiller 10th overall & now in his 3rd year insist on running him 6 times 7 total touches. Fitz sucks, I'm done with him.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Could it be that Buddy and Chan knew there'd be some rough spots but did not want a QB controversy and potentially divisive locker room? I don't think they liked any of the QBs available at the pick they had. Oh well.. Always next year
BuffaloFan68 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 I'm ready to move on from the ChaNix debacle. Time to bring Polian back No sense in starting Fitz the rest of the year. Might as well find out what we have with the other QBs. collecting paychecks.
T master Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Probably the same reason why they cut Vince Young and won't even dress Tavaris Jackson. I'd rather try either at this point. Yah those moves this year will go down as top of the "Not Top 10 List of Bad Decisions For 2012"
papazoid Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Theory why we did not draft a QB ? because Buddy sticks to drafting Best Available Player......
KOKBILLS Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 No they actually believe in Fitz Unfortunately, I think this is the correct answer... They didn't draft a QB because they have no clue what they're doing. It really is that simple. This is another valid reason...
Captain Hindsight Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Conspiracy theories are fun. My bet is they thought Gabbert sucked
TheFunPolice Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 why is it so hard for Buddy Nix fans to grasp the obvious: these guys (Buddy the 70+ year old 1st time GM and his retread head coach) ACTUALLY BELIEVE that Fitzpatrick is a QB they can win with in this league? They have no real backup QB (no chance for controversy), they have not addressed QB in the draft (even 2nd or 3rd round), and Chan calls games like he has Tom Brady under center. These guys LOVE Fitzpatrick. That's why they have no addressed QB.
Dennis in NC Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 This is a team that took Spiller 10th overall & now in his 3rd year insist on running him 6 times 7 total touches. Fitz sucks, I'm done with him. And I believe when Spiller's contract is up, he will find a team that knows how to use his skills and he will become a star. Chan's coaching is going to cost us a star player IMO.
truth on hold Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 2 mistakes: - over estimating fitz - demands on drafting for 3-4 conversion
