cobruhhh Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 It's taking Fred Jackson's 3rd injury for Spiller to get a full time role.

purple haze Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I hate the thought of another coaching change, but when the coach REFUSES to use his only, legitimate gamebreaking offensive player week in and week out he has to be fired.
cantankerous Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) It's taking Fred Jackson's 3rd injury for Spiller to get a full time role. He was then replaced by Tashard Choice, not Spiller. Edited December 9, 2012 by cantankerous
bills_fan_in_raleigh Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 you're not really bothered by the Bills' best offensive weapon getting 8 touches, while FJ got 14, and Fitz dropped back to pass 40 times? Hell, Chandler got 5 touches. weare doomed anytime fitz throws more than 30 times teams know that and force us to let him try
cobruhhh Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He was then replaced by Tashard Choice, not Spiller. Choice was not "winded".
Bacchus44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I guess Chan didn't read the Buffalo News article this morning where six great running backs were calling him out for not giving his main weapon more touches in a game. Orrrr...maybe he did and decided to run Spiller only seven times today just to spite them??? Yeah, that was definitely it...he was trying to outfox them just like he does the other team he is playing against by doing things like: Wasting precious seconds instead of calling time outs once a play is done and the clock is running Pulling the kicker out of 50 yard field goals and humiliating him in front of the home town fans Deferring the kick-off whenever you win the toss against teams like New England (especially when your defense is struggling) Calling three straight passes when you're trying to protect a lead Running a Wildcat formation on 3rd & 1 for no gain Not going for it on 4th and short when you're team clearly needs to build momentum Cutting your star punter Ad infinitum, ad nauseum... "This guy here's an affensive geen-eeuss...les keep 'im on board fer 'nother sayzun er two" - Buddy Nix.
bisonbrigade Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Tell me if you own for your offensive play calling, why do you give your best offensive player, CJ Spiller, only eight touches in a must win game. 7 freaking rushes and 1 catch. Whats wrong with this picture?

Bufcomments Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 14 touches for FJ (30 yards, and 1 lost fumble in the red zone). 8 touches for CJ. Chan is an idiot, plain and simple. average of 2 touches a Quarter. Your Best player gets 8 touches? Chan gonna make CJ want to get out of Buffalo.
billsfan714 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 One CJ touch in the final 22 minutes.....just amazing. A quarter and a half and one touch.
Bob in STL Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I get the feeling he is losing on purpose. The question is why. Because we are losing on purpose to get a better draft choice. Then we can draft the best RB in the draft to replace the departing Spiller.
Bacchus44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Maybe he and Fitz should grow a playoff beard....er wait.
Bob in STL Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Jackson is about as durable as Tim Connolly. Jackson is offically old for a RB. He is over 30 and hitting the wall. He should be second team and owuld make a decnet role player. Time to make Spiller #1 and stop the nonsense.
JPS Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I really, really want to hear how Gailey explains this one away. "Well, the defense really stack the box when he was in there and threw some things at us we hadn't seen before"
TheMadCap Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 "Well, the defense really stack the box when he was in there and threw some things at us we hadn't seen before" Stop it. There is no way he said that. You are joking, right?
Bacchus44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Hmmm...it does make one wonder if Seattle might watch game film and then "throw some things at us that we haven't seen before" when they play them next week? Think those Toronto Bills fans are pumped up for next Sunday yet???
