Pirate Angel Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 No more 50/50 passes to runs.. we need to win, 4more games left it does not make sense to not just "let him rip." If he truly is an elite talent in the league 14 touches a game is an injustice to him. He was the # 9 draft pick a couple years ago..lets use him like the face of the franchise.
Big Turk Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Eric Dickerson was one of the players interviewed by the Buffalo ews for their story on piller and here is one of his comments: “I don’t think they’re using him properly. It’s like having a great quarterback and asking him to throw seven times a game. I mean, come on.” Sad when even players who barely watch the Bills know this, but the head coach doesn't, LMAO!!!
Pirate Angel Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 I understand wanting to keep him healthy but c'mon
jumbalaya Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 When you have a passing game like Buffalo's why shouldn't we pass all day long? Lee sent Picket into the Union cannon, Custer charged the Indian strength, we will pass our way to victory too.
San-O Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) Chan just doesn't get it, and if he hasn't by now, he's not going to. It's too bad. Edited December 9, 2012 by SoCal-Surf
NewEra Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 He obviously doesn't get it. Fred continues to be out there on 3rd down and every drive once we get to midfield. I'm baffled.
bills44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 more CJ and less Freddy is a good thing. so far, FJ has 9 touches, for 9 yards, with 1 fumble lost
bills44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 just mind-boggling. What's worse is the reliance on a fumble-happy, slow RB. Oh, and the D sucks. When they really need a stop, you know it ain't happening. what will Chan "Mastermind" Gailey's excuse be?
wonderbread Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Hey he makes mistakes. Everyone does. Chan just seems to make the same one over and over again.
xsoldier54 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 No excuse for this. They were the better team today and their coach called them out of a win. Pathetic. AGAIN.
DisplacedBillsFan Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 This is the most frustrating part of this loss (besides being in FG range and not kicking and then having to try to get in FG range with 48 seconds left). How is it even fathomable to give Spiller 7 carries and one target through the air. I would love some stability in the front office and coaching staff but not when decisions like this are being made. Clean house tonight.
bills44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 14 touches for FJ (30 yards, and 1 lost fumble in the red zone). 8 touches for CJ. Chan is an idiot, plain and simple.
Spiderweb Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Chan Gailey should be shot for the lack of touches by CJ....utterly incompetent. CJ can be a factor in the passing game, beyond just screens and streaks. In his day, TT was like another receiver in passing situations. Yet, this was simply not anywhere near enough carries.....a weapon like CJ and Chan REFUSES to use him....utterly sickening
marauderswr80 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Spilled ripped off 2 15 yarders 2 outta 3 carries back to back to back
jjmac Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 The only thing is can say without violating the TOS is...inexcusable.
bills44 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I really, really want to hear how Gailey explains this one away.
Madd Charlie Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I really, really want to hear how Gailey explains this one away. He needs some time to look at the film
RealityCheck Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I get the feeling he is losing on purpose. The question is why.
