Interesting.

Unfortunately, number of TDs is a stat that is not significantly correlated with that important goal, winning.

Yup. Fitz runs the ball, catches the ball, blocks, calls all the plays, tackles, and is in charge if the defense also.

Team Sport.

I'd say football is rather simple: Score TD's on offense; Prevent TD's on Defense. I'd say it's pretty important...not the be all end all, but it's high up there..lol :)

LOL

Yeah number of Tds definately doesn't correlate with winning...just look at the number of teams that win every week with no Tds......

He's 18th in salary, but around 23rd-27th in performance. He's actually underperforming his contract.

He's also had the 3rd most turnovers in the last 2 seasons.

Its an article about Sanchez but the stat is in there.

Fitz is better then Edwards who was better then Losman who was better then Rob Johnson. None of which were as good as Kelly, Flutie, Bledsoe or even Frank Reich

You know who's leading in INTs so far? Luck and Brees, a couple of bums.

# of TDs the team scores = strong correlation to winning

# of TDs the QB throws = not good correlation at all

Fact, Jack.

Context, my dear, context.

# of turnovers by a QB OTOH has a strong, significant negative correlation to winning in other words more turnovers = less wins.

I love useless Stats......

Hey Fitz..Game is on the line, you need 30 yards for a field goal win or 70 yards for a TD win....WHAT DO THE BILLS GET....ANOTHER LOSS!

Over a season ago now the league has plenty of tape on how Fitz runs Gaileys offense. Those games were also at home.

See Texans, 2nd pats game, Indy, Tenn game of this year

Some people just are not comfortable with change. They like a good interview. They bought the Jersey. You were not going to convince them that Rob Johnson and Trent Edwards sucked. And they're not going admit the great Ryan Fitzpatrick is part of the problem.

He has LED this team to consistent losing records. He cannot consistently throw the ball over 20 yards and that has so many affects on the game. He can be effective in the narrow band of offense that suits his skill set, but the Bills will never beat the better teams because they take that comfort zone away.

I kinda wish we had Curtis Painter, who sucks at every level.
